You get a ton of a cap space, you can spend freely, on guys like Bennett, etc. vs. trying to convince somebody to waive a NMC, to a very limited number of teams, for assets you may or may not prefer.

The reality is, having a few guys carrying the majority of the cap load is never going to work. It is far too much pressure on too few, in a pressure cooker market.
