For Leafs to make this a winnable series, they must win game 1. They have to hold serve going into game 2. If they were to lose, than the pressure would be immense to win game 2. At least if they split, they can do the same in Florida or game 5 in Toronto to keep it a series.

So you, me and Wedgie all got bans ranging from a week to 3 months (!) for totally normal comments. We're all Leaf fans.

You should talk to Makita, a few Canuck regulars got banned for normal comments, one got banned for a comment made a week or 2 prior to his ban.

It's a combination of the Panthers being built better and also the Leafs having significant weaknesses to their style.

Bob injury, maybe, but the Panthers have been without key players and still kept Kucherov to 0 goals in 10 playoff games the past 2 years. The Leafs stars already struggle, now, they'll be suffocated.

He answered me once saying he would pay me soon once the site changeover etc happens and to text him...and then never replied back to email/text/DM

The point is: Did this deserve a month's ban? No warning, just ban-hammer.

I'm getting an earie feeling that this thread is going to get locked soon. Too much information, too much speculation and lack of answers and understanding. It's been in a state of flux for a few months now. Gone are some prominent writers and contributors. I remember when former referee Paul Stewart would write the odd blog. I haven't seen or heard from him for over a year. We've also lost some of the better writers and now have pit brawls in some of the threads. The lack of decorum is evident that something is about to change, or happen. Not sure what.

Just took a quick peak at the Canucks blog and yup, Makita is seeing things exactly the same way I am, whoever is doing this is a disrespectful jackass.

Might not even be Ek, maybe it’s someone who is no longer part of the site but still has the ability to do this kind of thing and is just doing so quietly and all Ek has to do is go over the list and delete anyone who is still on it but is no longer active. I don’t know. It’s certainly annoying one way or another.

Pretty much. Not even a reason for doing it, nor a warning. One other thing, I did mention that I wondered where Mike Augello went. But that was on the Leafs blog. I know where he is as of now. But that shouldn't matter. I never mentioned where he was or what he was doing.
