Bloggers can ban as well, so if someone has posted in an unpopular way I suppose in someone else’s blog I guess… a couple days would be one acceptable thing from them if they didn’t like how someone was replying to their writing.
But these bans are for months on end, and since I’m not being told anything something isn’t sitting right at all. - Dozzer

Fred Andersen, #1 best playoff goalie. But not good enough for the Leafs.
Because figures don't lie, but liars figure. - Rare_Jewel
Show me Freddie's playoff game 7's record and stats.
That's why he wasn't good enough for Toronto.

Freddie would've benefited immensely from Tree's D makeover and Berube's defensive system.
I think Stolarz/Woll is as good of a tandem as we've had in a long long time, but they are greatly benefiting from the play in front of the net this year. |

Yep, Bob was considered by many to be the Panthers’ albatross when they were a run&gun high scoring team on their way to becoming President’s Trophy winners. Now, under Mo’s defense first style, he is Bobby! and was a serious candidate for the Conn Smythe trophy the last two playoffs. |

What do people think about the player for player match-ups?
RW1- Reinhart vs. Marner - Reinhart NO
C1 - Barkov vs . Matthews - Barkov (frank) NO
LW1 - Verhaeghe vs. Knies - Knies YES
RW2 - Tkachuk vs. Nylander - Tkachuk Hmmm, wash
C2 - Bennett vs. Tavares - Bennett Uh no, unless you mean for fighting
LW2 - Rodrigues vs. Pacioretty - Rodrigues Who the (frank) is Rodriques?
RW3 - Marchand vs. Holmberg - Marchand Sure
C3 - Lundell vs. Domi - Lundell Wash
LW3 - Luostarinen vs. McMann - Luostarinen Wash
RW4 - Boqvist vs. Jarnkrok - Push Wash
C4 - Sturm vs. Laughton - Sturm Wash
LW4 - Greer vs. Lorentz - Lorentz Sure
EXF: Samoskevich vs. Robertson - Samoskevich Agree
LD1 - Forsling - McCabe - Forsling No, one better offense, one better D
RD1 - Jones - Tanev - Jones GET (frank)ED. Jones is garbage
LD2 - Mikkola vs. Rielly - Mikkola Sure

RD3 - Kulikov - Benoit - Kulikov
EXD - Balinskis vs. Myers - Push
Bob vs. Stolarz - Bob
Bob vs. Woll - Bob
Knight vs. Stolarz - Stolarz
Knight vs. Woll - Woll
None of the below matters, you're an idiot. 0 games played out of 7 so far.
TOR PP vs. FLO PK - FLO
TOR PK vs. FLO PP - FLO
TOR GF vs. FLO GA - FLO
TOR GA vs. FLO GF - FLO
TOR CF% vs. FLO CF% - FLO
TOR xGF% vs. FLO xGF% - FLO
TOR PIM vs. FLO PIM - TOR
I think home ice advantage means nothing because the Leafs crowd in the building is pathetic and actually puts more pressure on the team than encouragement. The Panthers know Stolarz's weakness so I think he loses the net but by time Woll gets the net, it might be too late.
On the flip side, since everybody thinks Florida is the favorite, it takes pressure off the Leafs, allows them to play freely and get ahead in the series. But when those elimination games come, the pressure returns and they crumble. Except this time, it's not Ottawa...it's Florida...
This Florida team has been able to shut down Kucherov to the point of 0 playoff goals in 10 games the past two playoff years. We're talking about a guy who has scored a total of 260+ points the last two seasons. If that was Marner or Matthews, this market would be in uproar. But that's how good they are defensively.
There's basically only one way the Leafs win this series; Florida is fatigued, Bob gets injured and the referees give the Leafs 6 PP per game.

I'd love that but I wouldn't bet on Winnipeg after that first round, if I had to bet money right now. |

I don't know man... the Jets are, in my book, extremely lucky to still be alive and probably not gonna beat Dallas as they are already banged up after the first round while the Stars are getting Heiskanen and Robertson back.
As for the Leafs well, I don't think they are considered favorites in their matchup against the Pantehrs.

(frank) vegas and Dallas.
Either jets vs oilers west final or dallas vs oilers.
East final.....caps v leafs im fine with. I just dont see the core stepping up enough to beat the panthers.
Stepping up one game to beat an 8th seed is one thing. Prove you can do it against a top team.....4 to 5 times (as there may be a game you step up and play great but still lose)
We'll see. |

Show me Freddie's playoff game 7's record and stats.
That's why he wasn't good enough for Toronto. - Kinger34
That was a decent question. Not super great, for the record:
Overall: 43-33, .915% - 2.42 GAA
Clinching: 5-8, .879% - 3.22 GAA
Elimination: 4-6, .896% - 2.97 GAA
Other games: 34-19, .926% - 2.14 GAA
Definition:
Overall is all of his playoff games,
Clinching is any game where his team could win the series with a win and Elimination is any game where his team could be eliminated.
Other are just the games where neither team could progress to the next round with a win.
Note that a game could be both a Clinching and Elimination game (game 7).
But you can see how is poor performance in Clinching and Elimination games drags down his overall performance. He sort of has a history of being the opposite of clutch. |
