Well that weird “no penalty if you are trying to hit or shoot the puck but don’t” we saw was just applied in the Jets / Blues game to negate a penalty on the Blues and leave them on the power play.

If you watch enough hockey, you'll eventually not understand, hooking, holding, interference, etc.

Then, once you realize that penalties are unrelated to infractions, you will start to see the light.

Changes depending on who is the home team, how much time is left, how many penalties have been assessed so far, what the score is, and the reputation and years of service of the players involved.

I just think of penalties as things that randomly spawn, like in video games.

Wasn't Winnipeg the first overall seed? And they run into the wildcard team that got in by running the (frank)ing table, and then Peg's Vezina goalie implodes....

Why not go with the goalie who has had the best save percentage in the National Hockey League for the last two seasons? He played for the Panthers last year.

As a Canadian I'd hate to see him in the US net.
