they should reverse mortgage their house and bet on the cats

that'll show us how certain it is that they are gonna win. i'd personally feel very owned so i hope he doesnt do that

Hard to bet against a team that has been in the last two SCF's, won and were the President's Trophy winners the year before those runs and just smoked a TB team that while injured etc. (who isn't?) who were the favourites.

I'm intrigued by the matchup. Leafs playing low event hockey these days and the Panthers tend to thrive in chaos.

Tanev is going to be hurting but he will be such a massive difference maker in this series.

He is elite at defending a hard forcheck.

The D core as a whole has earned some trust here. They are built to minimize this Panthers play style. Lets hope they are at their best here.

These are both very very very good teams and Florida will be feeling good due to their health coming around and Toronto will be feeling good after taking a series.

Florida is a bit bigger and a little more physical and Toronto has a little more puck handling skill and talent but let’s face it, either team can very much handle their own on both sides of the game.

Honestly what I think this will come down to? Stolarz vs his old team. They know him and he knows them. I kind of believe whoever overcomes who when it comes to that will define the winner of this series.

Go Leafs Go for me!!

I think what it will come down to is if the Leafs can handle the Cats forechecking. The y put so much pressure on the other teams defenseman. Should be interesting.

I believe special teams will tell a lot about this series.

Hear ya. Hard to gain credibility when the spelling is a tad off.

i wouldnt touch hockey betting with a 40 foot poll, im not even convinced it's not 100% rigged by the refs once the playoffs hit. why? cause it has happened in every other sport and nobody ever actually looks into anything in hockey 'cause it's such an insignificant baby of a sport

with that said florida are the favs for sure but anything can happen

Same.
One big reason is that I won't bet on something that the refs actively try to keep close and influence the game.

Leafs are healthy because they avoid physical play all season, minus a couple defencemen.

Bold strategy, we’ll see if it pays off.

If Bennet wants to (frank) around he and Domi can scrap in game 1. But I don’t think this series will be about who’s tougher, or who wants it more. I think it’ll be about who’s systems are better, who’s more disciplined, and goaltending.
