The upcoming dmen the Canucks have is nice. Not many times in their history have they had depth upcoming to this degree. Nothing superstar wise, but some quality depth is there. However, the upcoming forwards are non-existent. At best third line depth and forth line plug-ins. Sammy Blais is the best forward on the squad, which isn't saying much at all.

Ironically, I think Blais is the only player they had in the organization with a Stanley Cup ring. With the way he plays I can't see why he didn't get a sniff of some 4th line minutes.

For sure, 4th line banger in the NHL. But what else is on the farm? Sasson and Lekker with Sasson topping out as a 3rd liner at best. And Lekker, an undersize unknown quantity, maybe top 6 wingerwhen he fills out. Outside of them, nothing else is going to move the needle.

After being at all the home games to date, Sasson is my co-favourite with Blais, although each game a different player shines to the forefront. De Giuseppe is also good and Bains can be extremely physical and an agitator. You wouldn’t know it but I think Karlsson is leading the playoffs in points.

I forgot about Karlsson. He is a steady eddy hopefully 3rd liner as well.
Now the biggest question is, what goalie is going to be traded in the next couple of weeks? You can't just let Silovs get plucked on waivers, Lanky has a no trade, and Demko is at a all time low in value do to all the injuries. Something has to happen soon, and I think it will be Demko traded away. It would be nice if they could make a deal for a Barret Hayton type center in a package for him.

What a win, I have never seen a goal called back like that. Klimovich has been used sparingly not surprised he scored, if fact I called him in 2nd OT.
