Be realistic, the Canucks will get Nick , the lesser of the 2 , just like Kariya, Fedorov , Sutter , Suban, Benn and any other lesser siblings we are sold the crapbucket of hope that Canucks fans live to dream of ... - onesmallleap
edit: Granlund.
Maybe this is why PA is collecting all the Pettersson's...just to be safe.
No, no we couldn't...but Utah is an interesting trading partner with a new team, new fanbase, and a remodeled building. They could want to make a splash.
Considering Quinn Hughes is on the verge of a generational offensively talented dman and Utah needs to upgrade their defence, you could get the 4th overall pick, Tig Iginla and Michael Kesselring.
I'd then trade the 4th overall to Columbus for Cayden Lindstrom...but life isn't a video game so I doubt that would ever happen.

I wonder what the Sabres would be looking for in exchange for JJ Peterka. He would fit really well in the top 6 in Van, rumour is he does not want to play in Buffalo anymore

Solid scorer for sure, worth the call depends on the price
There arenβt many trades in NHL history, especially in modern times, that an elite NHL defenceman has been traded. Chris Pronger and Rob Blake are probably the best examples in the last 25 years.
The trade: In February 2001, the Kings sent Blake and Steve Reinprecht to Colorado for Adam Deadmarsh, Aaron Miller, a player to be named later and two first-round picks.
Chris Pronger
The trade: Shanahan was once traded for Pronger too (as well as for Coffey), but that was before Pronger had truly established himself as one of the leagueβs best players. Instead, weβll go with the 2006 deal that sent him from Edmonton to Anaheim in exchange for Joffrey Lupul, Ladislav Smid, two firsts and a second.

Itβs strange, the Sabres always have a nice group of players but they just never seem to mix well together.

Good news is that Arty only has back to back losses twice this season and none in the playoffs. Usually follows up a loss with a solid effort. Fingers crossed.

Itβs not been a good game overall for the team, not just Silovs. Hopefully they win on Wednesday and Friday. I have tickets for Sunday and Monday but going back and forth from the island to Chilliwack is costly. I want them to close it out on the road.
