Watching the Tigers vs Knights Memorial Cup game, two really good teams, a lot of great young players. Medicine Hat doing the WHL proud!!

Me too. I picked Medicine Hat to win it at the start of the tournament. So they're screwed. This is a pretty even match up. Actually, they all have been close games. Not much separating any of these teams.

A little dicey at the end there for Medicine Hat, but they did it and they’re off to the finals now.

Scary to think McKenna has another year. They'll be a powerhouse again next season.

Looking like it's gonna be Oilers Panthers again. The dream matchup everyone was hoping for.

I don't like the Panthers, but will be cheering for them to win. The Edmonton fanbase is disgusting and does not deserve a cup, even if the players do.

The players also do not. Maybe Stecher. But other than that no. Go Panthers!

True, only some of them do. I'm mainly thinking of the big 2, no one can deny they are playoff monsters. Mcdavid already has more playoff points than Patrick Kane, who won 3 cups and played on a lot of good Chicago teams.

I'm tired of hearing of McDavid. Would love for him to leave Edmonton after failing to win a cup there and go win a cup with his next team. Just not the Oilers

I'd say the Kings, just to rub extra Gretzky-salt in the fresh McDavid wound

Panthers have won 10 playoff series in the past three years. The Canucks have won 9 since the 1995/96 season.

Same here. He's gonna rip the league apart next season.

Sure is nice watching some heavy hockey, unlike thee soft hockey of the Leafs and Canucks, but when fans scream for skilled guys, you end up with pansies like Marner and Petterson.
Sure hope this is another eye-opener for teams around the league, that you need big, fast, heavy players, if you truly want to succeed, when it matters most.

Carolina plays a soft brand of hockey, they're a very skilled and structured team, which is why they win a lot, but you need dawgs with drive and skill in the playoffs. You gotta want it more than the other guys.

Remember when Carolina gave Kotkaniemi a 6.1 million offer sheet and a 38.5 million extension to spite Montreal.

Or you end up like Boston, all heavy like players but no skill to put the puck in the net. There's no perfect formula or else winning the Stanley Cup wouldn't be so hard. The teams that consistantly win, tend to be the teams that are most well rounded AND... avoid significant injuries that can't be played through and hamper their effectiveness.
