Speaking of drafting, Dallas has done an amazing job since the 2015 NHL draft picking up such great players that have allowed them to get into the Conference Finals three years in a row. Somewhere the Toronto Maple Leafs have only been ONCE in the past 31 years.

What are you talking about Reuby? Making excuses for what? I'm talking about landing free agents and what may influence their decisions to sign in certain markets. If people don't think weather plays a role in their decisions they're lying to themselves.

Rutherford said himself, Vancouver is not typically on players lists of teams they badly want to go to. They're also in the top half of the league when it comes to travel as well, Vancouver.
