Also, not sure why some of your like to gift Lekkerimaki a nhl roster spot, the kid has like 1 goal since February and isn't doing much in Abbotsfors playoff run.

Maybe maybe not. Jr & NHL totally different game. He was a warrior as a player & hope that translate onto the team. Players need to be in top shape & work hard in all 3 zones.

I doubt they had many options beyond Malhotra & Foote. No NHL experienced coach would want to take on Pouty and the Train Wrecks.
