It's not that dire. Trade Pouty for a promising centre and use the extra cap space to sign a UFA or trade for another centre. After the Miller trade, Vancouver was without top two centres for the rest of the season. Someone mentioned that they were only 6 points out of the playoffs without Miller and Pouty's ghosting. Trade him, he's already broken the team. Even Tocchet couldn't face the idea of another season of Pouty.

I think they're going to target Marco Rossi. Apparently there's a disconnect between him and the Wild.. he's small for sure, but tenacious. Guerin wants bigger bodies and he was bumped down to 4C in the playoffs.

I would assume Minny would need a center back somehow, so maybe they'd have some interested in Chytil (plus plus to make the trade). Stamkos is a heavy cap hit, but I think his experience in the room would be ideal with the new/unproven coach coming in... plus he could be like Miller, centering his own line or bumping up to play with Petey (who I don't think they're trading.)

Also, not sure why some of your like to gift Lekkerimaki a nhl roster spot, the kid has like 1 goal since February and isn't doing much in Abbotsfors playoff run.

It will be Foote or Malhotra because no one else wants to coach the dumpster fire team with a selfish malcontent sucking all the oxygen from the room.

They had an amazing season and won the division, they had a terrible implosion of a season and missed the playoffs by 6 points or whatever. They're probably somewhere in the middle with those additions... which is a decent team.

Sign Jamie Benn, Ehlers and Bennet and trade for Tuck and Norris. You add speed, size and grit, hopefully resulting in more offence.

Get rid of Hoglander, Blueger and othter plugs to make it work cap wise...trade Boeser and Suter's rights to the highest bidder
