He is a good player but the Leafs and Team Canada both did everyone a solid by getting his face off their screens, nobody needs to see that.

That Stutzle is (frank)ing awesome. I had him on a pool team all year and he paid off consistently.

But in the end, if I was Ottawa I would still be a little worried.

This is true.

Anytime the Leafs lose a game I wash that jersey I was wearing and sometimes switch to a new one for next game.

I’ve only gone through 2 jerseys so far this year and I’d love to keep it to that.

Dumb superstitious belief but I can’t help it.

I don't like to say nice things about the Sens, but you have Tkachuk, Sanderson, Stutzle, Cozns . . . all under 25. Add in the role guys or guys who stepped up like Kleven, Grieg or Pinto . . . also under 25. I mean that's not too shabby with Ullmark to backstop their mistakes.

More importantly….

If Boston, Pittsburgh, Carolina, Detroit, Vancouver or Chicago signs Marner as UFA, are you switching your allegiance?

I don’t know yet.

I think I’m more likely to walk away from watching hockey in general if the Leafs fail to have success. Marner will go help some other team win a cup is my guess, like Kadri and Bozak did.

this thread's not so bad.

Good series from both sides. A lot of the leafs' players I like, I never liked the core's mentality towards winning - and what it takes.

I'm very proud of the young core of Sens.
