Is Laine really injured or is that an excuse to sit him?
- ThatDarnCat

According to my latest source (BashCH), yes.

he's been playing injured since early March, he hasn't been able to shoot the puck with the same velocity or accuracy as before. I heard it could be his wrist...which does not explain how slow he is and his lack of engagement. He might have something else that bothers him, he was out to start the season with a knee injury, might still be a problem.

I'm willing to bet a little 2$ that he'll have a knee operation this summer.

Just watch clips of him in Columbus and Winnipeg, the man wasn't that slow.

For sure. No explosion in his skating, he wasn't like that before the injury.

A toonie.

That 2$ bill is likely worth at least 200% of what it once was so... yeah.... I'm keeping that bad boy for my retirement days.

that's just the top up in addition to his very large Quebec Gvt pension....which is mostly funded by Pete

Fun fact, I do have the Quebec Gvt pension but I'm hired by a private association, so my salary isn't capped in the same way as government employee.

So Pete can relax, he's not funding my salary.

But I should have a pretty good retirement if things keep going well, especially if you add that 2$ paper bill we talked about.

I meant Pete is funding your pension, 50% paid by you, 50% Gvt of Qc contribution...which is funded by Pete

But that's what I'm saying, it's not funded by the gvt at all for me.

I mean never mind the fact that the Liberals got the highest vote share in Sask and Alberta that they've gotten since 1968.

I have a mix of pension plan and now I'm accumulating more REER so I should be good to retire before I hit 65.

Also depends if I'm still with the miss and she inherits from her mom who is loaded
