Here we go.

C’mon Stars and Kings. Please, at least one of you needs to take your series.

Stars are tough.

Kings? Well, let’s just hope the Oil don’t snap out of it.

So if Lappy took the Phantoms on a deep run in the playoffs would that change peoples minds about him coaching the Flyers?

I am not a fan of Ian L as a coach -- too much of a grinding philosophy. I just watched his interview after game 2 and he was pretty entertaining and engaging. Certainly more enjoyable to listen to than Tortor-bumhole....

Frome Spectors:
QUENNEVILLE THE NEXT DUCKS COACH?

RG.ORG: James Murphy cited a well-connected NHL source claiming the Anaheim Ducks have offered their open head-coaching job to Joel Quenneville.

“The job is his if he wants it, and I’ll be stunned if he doesn’t take it,” said Murphy’s source, who believes it is all but certain Quenneville will become the next coach of the Ducks.

I threw my shoe at the TV the night that they passed on Caufield for York. In interviews you could just tell that Caufield would be "that guy" that would want the puck on his stick in crucial situations and he's loaded with talent. York is a run of the mill defender at this point in his career. I thought he was really getting his act together last season, but he regressed this year and all the blame can't be put on the evil guy named Torts.

Will be interesting if he gets traded this summer. I think he could bring back something significant especially if he’s packaged with something else.

That would be a bummer but in the end doesn’t really matter IMO. The front office has two more years to get this off the ground with the necessary talent to win. Tocchet isn’t great but he isn’t terrible either. Definition of mid neither helping nor hurting.

Yea and I dont know that much will be changing with the team to be honest. Unless they get aggressive in the offseason. They are going to continue to draft and develop which means more seasons like this. How this team does rests on Michkov, Luchenko, Bonk, Bump, Barkley, Foerster, Brink and York(Dunno if I missed anyone). All rests on the young players improving and the prospects panning out.
