He was my favorite player for years and had a resurgence. The wear and tear of his style of play may be catching up to him. If the team was swimming in picks, sure, but they aren’t. If that makes me a misery, that’s fine. Happy to stand on my opinion good and bad

Were honestly better off taking Dumoulin. He is still playing well, will probably be the same if not a cheaper price. An even less favorable option, is to grab them both... have Dumoulin play with Fox and McDonagh with Schneider, assuming no other changes are made.

He had a NTC, he has to submit a list of teams before the season starts. Drury should have never said a thing, like he usually does. He should have had his plan, and kept it to himself. Collect your lists from the players with NTC's and play out the season. Doing what he did, putting players in a bad position under threat of whatever he was thinking is crazy. What he did didnt just affect the players themselves, it affected the rest of the locker room as we saw. Trouba was clearly the captain of that team for longer than he wore that C for.

At least now we’ve moved on a full season where it’s behind them and won’t be a distraction.
