I think pre-game shenanigans is one of those things that the NHL wants to crack down on hard regardless of the severity of it.. They talked to the guys in the Peg series about not leaving the ice.

To many bad things can happen for the stupidest reason and can escalate quickly.

Teams will probably get a stern talking to and maybe a small fine to Cousins.
