I used to be stiff and sore all the time after playing sports. I decided to DRASTICALLY reduce my sugar intake and it has been an incredible improvement.
As for injuries, go to physio and actually do the exercises religiously. I had a shoulder injury that took 3-4 years to heal on its own, but then was able to get over tennis elbow and then a wrist injury by following a physio plan. Do it, it works. - Whipper
Thanks, Whip. Believe me, I am no rookie when it comes to stuff like this. I think getting older is the biggest issue.
You know what’s worse than Tennis Elbow?
Tennis balls. |

I said this in the devil thread and I'll say it here. It's refreshing to not be outcoached in the playoffs for once. Green is absolutely getting dummied except for getting more penalties drawn since game 1. - Aaron_85
Oh snap how did that comment land in the Devil's thread? lol

Agreed it can be a safety issue but it appears to be minor (unless more video comes out showing something different).
Anyone remember the 1987 Phiily / Habs pre game warm up brawl where Shane Corson came back onto the ice to shoot a puck in the Philly net? I saw an interview one time with Mike Keenan who said they had the trainers or someone physically have to lock Ron Hextall into some type of an equipment room or something so he didn't go back out onto the ice that maniac! lol
https://youtu.be/v6YX5vFUTeQ?si=yHcZF4KTtVGrb3hM
It's a total unsportsmanlike like move for sure and even if the puck isn't shot hard putting pucks intentionally across to the other team's side is a safety issue because it's a tripping hazard as no player is expecting a puck to come from that direction in warm ups.
imagine if a player slipped on a puck the Sens shot over the line and had a high ankle sprain? Imagine if it was a top player? So bush league and stupid. - Cush29
I would push it a little further that the league wants it to stop simply to not fuel things more or to have things escalate during warm ups as series drag on. It could get real dicey in the jets blues series if they started doing poop in warm ups.
And like you said, it's a puck coming from the wrong direction. Noone thought wearing your helmet would be necessary in warm ups until Hall took a skate to the face.

Yes.
Let hope they do turn that around. - Fakepartofme
Call me a homer, but I think the Leafs come out and absolutely dominate game 4. Another 6-2 type game. I think years of losing has turned these guys into different players. I think the 4 Nations particularly helped Marner. Or, Leafiness... |

Ya its a nothing burger.
We've seen several times over the years players doing this.
Its not like it was a slapshot - Fakepartofme
I agree it's a nothing burger right now, until it's not. Then we'll all complain and say why didn't they do something to stop it sooner.

I can still handle quantity but it’s only because I nurse beer as I drink now, it’s just for the taste anymore, too bad non-alcoholic tastes like poop because it’s way cheaper lol - Dozzer
Have a couple people in my circle of friends who swear by non-alcohol Guinness, if you like that beer. Some guy at a local pub said they can't keep it in stock. |

There is a change in how the leafs are playing and the overall feel of the game. |

So.
Sens season ticket holder here.
Game was good.
Leafs....remind me of that year Ovi finally smartened up and played defense and won a cup. There's a sense of "we" and no "me" in their game. The shot blocking, the smart plays to keep pucks out of dangerous situations. Absolute domination in the face off dot..and I can't stand Tavares but he looks HUGE...like..just a big human who's hard to contain. And honestly Matthews and Marner appear to be coasting because they can----they haven't even opened up offensively like they're able to. When they need to....(the goal in the first minute of the 3rd period).....I was just sitting there thinking...."they're just playing with us". That pass from Marner...there was a kid in a Marner jersey in front of me..I just leaned forward and said "that's a 14 million dollar pass"
Yes Brady appears to be skating on one leg. Sure Jensen is hurt too. but...this series is over. And I'm not sure if they were both 100% that the Sens would be winning more than a game. - Octavarium
Some talent on that Sens team, but it wouldn't be anything other than a massive upset if they won.

I can't remember if it was this series or another one, but I remember it got to stupid levels - players would take the nets off the pegs, turn them backwards.
I also remember seeing (maybe on coach's corner?) where two players from opposite teams wanted to be the last off the ice after warmup. They both were sitting at the doors, not budging, until they did a rock paper scissors - the guy who lost left first.

Tkachuk is obviously playing through an injury.
How hard do you think he can push himself when down 3-0? |

Could be a lot more leaf fans in Ottawa too. I’m not sure what the consensus is but if I was an Ottawa fan I would rather sell my ticket then watch my team get swept potentially. Sell your ticket and hope for a game 6. |

I have the non-alcohol Guinness in my house all the time and honestly you can't tell the difference it's really good.
I have regular Guinness, non-alcoholic and the coffee Nitro brew one *(it's a good starter if I'm tired and we have guests coming over lol).

So far it appears to be Nick Cousins (but they are saying others being looked at).
This video sucks and I'm hoping there is more / better video later because I don't even see the puck in it but the stories I've read so far all talk about the Sens "lobbing" pucks despite the Drama Queen Darren Dregger saying pucks were "fired" at Stolarz....Dregger is such a loser. lol
https://x.com/FriedgeHNIC...eafs-stolarz-in-warmup%2F - Cush29
I used to dunk on Dreger also. Had lunch with him and a couple friends of mine a couple years ago. He's a good guy, great sense of humor.
Back in the day my two fave TSN guys to have a beer with were Dutchyshen and Chris Schultz |

Oh yeah... Dreger is still blowing it out of proportion and all it'll take is a small fine but I guess he can't praise the leafs. So might as well talk about a nothing burger.

So apparently sens are in trouble with the league for shooting pucks at Stolarz in warmups according to Dreger. Looking into punishment.
Not sure how against the rules this is but ok lol. - Santo_44
So Leafs are even getting outshot in warmups? Sens in 7 |

Apparently there are some "fans" who think Hagel's hit on Barkov shouldn't have been more than 2 minutes. |
