But but... I was told Xhekaj would neutralize Wilson?!
I'm happy St-Louis is turning into a good coach. - Pecafan Fan
Don't think you'll ever neutralize a guy like Wilson, but they didn't get pushed around as much in game 3 or 4 as they did in the first 2, they even out-hit Was in game 3.
A part from his turnover in game 3 that lead to a goal Arber has been pretty solid in his zone, clearing the front of the net ect..

Well he's a rookie backup goaltender with a whooping 16 games in the NHL before yesterday.
It wasn't gonna be perfect, anyone knew it. The hope was that Washington would also be stuck with Lindgren... and they didn't. - Scabeh
i thought he was really good. i wasn't expecting as much out of him as they got.
i'd have to take another look to be sure but i also thought the rebound goal was more on the 3 habs that didn't take strome or clear the puck than on dobes for leaving the rebound. that's a weird play where he was expecting a shot from beauvillier and i think there would have been a rebound no matter who the goalie was on that particular play because when beauvillier doesn't get a shot the puck is just sliding toward the net and he has to react with his pad. it's like reacting to a changeup in baseball.

yep he was really solid. I didn't like the first goal but he made some nice saves and kept them in it. can't ask for anything more, and absolutely not the reason why they lost. Habs were dominated at 5x5, period.
yeah I was being sarcastic, I'm actually looking forward to next game - Pat1993
kids and coaches are learning what it is like to be in that role in the playoffs. Happy they are facing a physical team also, it shows to HuGo what the gaps are with this group in terms of what is needed to go on a long playoffs run.

Little expectations, lots of learn. - Symba007
I agree, although I don't think either Gorton or Hughes needed this series to realize they need more depth and grit, it was probably something already on their mind moving forward.
