They were cruising until that happened. Playing with speed and keeping the Caps outside. I despise Wilson, but that hit was a bone crushing, momentum swinging clean hit.

I never bought that argument and I think the caps killed that one for good. Ovie or Wilson wont change their style cause mtl decided to dress their big 6th defenseman. They knew they could hit mtl players hard and they did. Wifi was there to watch

This is the younguest team in the playoffs vs the top seed in the East, and 2nd overall in the league. They have a lot of experience. Habs, not so much.

its ok to feel this way, this team should never have made the playoffs in the first place

rebuilds take many years, they were able to make a leap this season but they also could have a set back next year, at least when it comes to the standings

I still think the future is bright, they just have to build around those pieces. They did just that when they got Carrier, the guy who the Caps targeted tonight.
