yep, they'll suck but if they suck equally for both teams, what I call fairly, I'm confident Habs win this.

Habs have zero control over the refs

play hard but smart

the end

I think his point is that the refereeing could influence the game in one way or another, which isn't entirely false, even if the habs have no control over that.

sure it could, but the point remain.

Refs have sucked since the start, I dont expect otherwise.

They were far from perefect in game 3, Habs still won.

I dont want them to lose the focus on the task at end.

yeah, I'm not too worried about that, despite struggling at times I think the team has been well-prepared and focused for the most part.

of course refeering influence the game result. when you don't call a 5 min major for crosscheck to the face, twice in 2 games mind you, you totally influence the result.
the fact players don't have control over it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

If they focus on the refs instead of the Caps and the game, they will lose. No doubt.

Like I said, players do that way better than the fans. Thats why they are fans.

when you do get a pp, you jump on the god damn ice and try to score or build something. You get a penalty? You dont cry about it. You kill it and then go on to score a god damn goal. Thats what you do.

For (frank)kk sake, even Wilson admitted he needed to focus on hockey a bit more.

pantoute
