Fine with me.

We hung both games, but didn’t deserve this one at all. Preferred their game after they settled down yesterday to today. No Demidov at the end? Nice coaching Marty. Also a mistake not to play Xhekaj in this game IMO.

Oh well, better win the next one or I think we get swept.

Can't expect to win if we only show up in the 3rd period

Not sure we watched the same game. Seemed like Washington could turn it on when they wanted and dominate. Thompson didn’t steal anything. Monty kept us in it and we had stretches where we were utterly dominated.
- Habsolute009

Thompson made many key saves in the final period, could easily be 2-2, a few of them deflected as well, Monty kept us in but timely saves equally as important

For the love of God will someone facewash Ovechkin? I know he's the all time goal scorer and all that, but it's the playoffs. Stop showing him respect.

Yeah no, I don’t agree with you at all. Without Monty in the second after Savard opened the flood gates the caps could have easily been up 4-1.

You stay on that hill of yours though

Another tight one. Refs were still kinda poop but at this point I don't expect it to change. Still hope to see Xhekaj next game

That was a blatant cross check to the face on Caufield at the end there. Maybe the Habs should just return the favor since anything goes

I think they should try allowing fewer shots and scoring more goals. That seems to be a winning formula.

I agree.

If we're gonna lose the series, might as well break someone's jaw in the process.

Sandpaper on the bottom 6, I can't stress that enough.

Also, I heard a guy on the radio say that Slafkovsky is "tailor-made" for the playoffs. Why? Because he's big?

I don't think he has that in him. Armia is big as well.

Washtington has only been called for like 1 of the 9 interference plays through 2 games; I'm willing to roll the dice.

Frankly, I've got more faith in Armia to score than Slafkovsky right now.

I'm really curious to see if wifi jr will win Armia' spot on the 4th.

Just look at the boarding call on Anderson... Kind of bullpoop compared to some of the hits that haven't been called on Washington.

Maybe as well put Xhehaj brothers on the 4th line if we can't win may as well hit them hard
