Stolarz is the hot hand at the moment but he's not the best playoff goalie we have.
Woll and Forsberg will be in net by the end of this series. - Rare_Jewel
Based on your theory would it not be Murray. |

He's a lot older and had major surgery since then. He had fantastic numbers in the AHL this year coming off an injury though. If he had to play in these playoffs, he's literally done it before (playing no games and then standing on his head in a playoff run) so I wouldn't be worried if he was called upon. But Woll is clearly the future goalie of this team right now. |

Ottawa was behind since the first goal.
I don't want to hear anymore 5v5 bullsh1t when one team is protecting a lead and the other team is pressing harder to score for almost the entire game. |

Sure would be nice if the biggest Ahole on hockeybuzz would just allow Leaf fans to enjoy the playoffs . - jribout

Domi is the odd man out if they need to make a move - Canada Cup
Not a chance.. if anyone Robertson...
Then turn either Patch or Domi on Greig... make it clear from the first shift

ottawa seems to think playoffs means let all penalties go but theyre just crosschecking like idiots. if anything it means you can get away with some hooking and interference but not crosschecks or hits from behind - twiztedmike
This is true .. except when Chara played. The crosscheck was his only play |

They still called him when he played for Ottawa. It was only once he played for Colin Campbell's son's team that the rules changed for him:
Chara's career PIM / game by team:
NYI: 1.5
Ottawa: 1.9
Boston: 1
Washington: 0.8

Patches, yes - but I think Domi is WAAAAAAY too undisciplined to be given that assignment. I do feel that Domi is a necessary component of playoff hockey. Yesterday was game one and yeah he made some amped up decisions that could have backfired on us, but he also made several good plays and brought a ton of physicality when necessary. That last bit isn't so much in response to any of your points, it's just noting what some others have said and why I'd agree with you that Domi should be staying in. |

Holmberg and Robertson are the same size but the difference is Holmberg is better at everything else except shooting. Robertson is a one-trick pony and Pacioretty can play that trick (proven multiple time 30 goal scorer) with more size, strength and hitting.
The only player available that is worse than Robertson overall as a player is probably Reaves. - Rare_Jewel
While I will agree that Holmberg is better at those other things, the Leafs lack secondary scoring. Robertson has improved this year with his effort, and defense. I think Holmberg would be fine on the 4th line. I would make a choice between Jarnkrok and Holmberg. I could see the argument for Holmberg, but personally I think Robertson has more impact.
