I have little confidence in the flyers scouting team. Apart from getting lucky with Michkov dropping in their laps, the only real time they landed a gem player was accidental. Bobby Clarke forgot his name at the podium. They also got very unlucky with top picks - Nolan Patrick was considered a top pick and best bet at 2nd overall.
They have tons of picks.

Gagne was a great one. Lindblom seemed to be a really good pick before the situation. Lots of luck involved but I’m more concerned with the teams ability to nourish the kids and build them to potential than I am the draft process. Nashville doesn’t just make good d man picks they bring them up right |
