EP underperforming and Demko out were the difference, 4 wins instead of losses and we’re watching the Canucks right now.

If's work both ways. If McTavvisish didn't struggle for the first 35 game and Gibson didn't get hurt, or if Zary didn't get hurt or if Utah had the full roster every game, where would the Canucks have been?

We could be watching the Canucks, Flames and Ducks instead of the Blues, Wild and Oilers.

The D looks a lot different than it did at the beginning of the season. I actually agree with Neem for once that the D looks better (organizationally) than it has in a decade.

The forwards on the other hand are a hot mess.

- golfingsince

I agree, I think the defensemen look better than the beginning of the year, but comparing it to the solid defenders from last season, ot isn't close

Yes, the forward group is not that good, but hey, they have the best bottom 6 in the league, although they might be a bit soft.

Yawn 🥱 shouldn’t you be in the Bruins thread claiming what a phenomenal franchise they are because they finished tied for 4 worst in the entire league.

You do know you’re just beating a dead horse, over and over again

I was hoping the oilers would get spanked, Dallas is giving the Avs a tough time.Feel bad for the Habs and now I can only hope that Ottawa does something to take out the Leafs, if Green is such the fantastic coach Lordy claims him to be the Sens are just toying with the Leafs.

Ya, it is getting boring having to tell Canucks fans, over and over again, that this team is not as miraculous as the the one season wonder year, especially when those idiot fans think Desharnais is the Zadorov or Cole replacement.
As I have said once or twice, Canucks fans get what they deserve

In regargards to the Bruins, after many many years of being a contender, they are finally starting over again, something the Canucks aren't used to, as it is more important to try just get close.
After 55 years of this, it gets pretty annoying.

Dallas is a good hockey team, even without their best defenseman.

Go Kings
Go Sens.
Go Habs.

And of course Go Jets Go

hahaha funny thing is stripes I never actually said that Green was an 'excellent' coach but hey nice spin. I just said he and Benning would be working in the NHL again when all you champs said it would never happen.

But it is ironic that Green has the Sens in the PO's and our Jack Adam's winner is well...leaving lol

Like 2 playoffs in 10 years.
Letting two immature players derail an entire season.
Keeping UFA's to only watch them wave good bye for nothing.
The never ending rebuilding on the fly while staying competitive.

At least the Canucks got their participation ribbon this season while people like you are happy with mediocrity.

- Marwood

No one 'let immaturity derail the season' - you drama queen. Mgmt said they tried everything to remedy the situation - but in your mind that equals = place blame entirely on one player. That's super mature of you!

I'm just trying to make logical sense of the facts of the situation.
He had 6 really good seasons and 1 horrifically bad. How? Why? What are the factors?

1. He had a knee injury that began last January and his play dropped off.
2. Bcus of the injury, he had trouble with off season training. Do you not believe this? Have you ever been injured and gone through rehab? You must have an idea of how it affects every other part of your body.
3. Had the worst season of his career - an outlier.
4. Based on his first 6 seasons - he played 407 games and had 412 points. Next to Makar, he's still by far the most productive player from 2017 draft class.

You think that he'll never get back to being a PPG or even a highly productive player again?

Folks like the Wood are completely void of common sense thinking. It's a total narrative shift from massive praise of this MNGT group last year back to his regular b!tching crying and whining. Sure the Miller-Petey situation was a large part of it but so many other dynamics at play. It's a team game it doesn't fall to one two or even three players to take all the Blame FFS lol

Hey man you're the one in here everyday b!tch, moaning and complaining about everything Canucks.

Beating the deadhorse and spreading your negative BS every second post.

Seems very much like you're "getting what you deserve" - keep it up tho, we all love your energy, so infectious!! You and Driftwood are a match made in purgatory!

I don't think he has the mental capacity to take to another level on a consistent basis. I think he is emotionally & mentally fragile. Cut your losses and trade him before July 1.

Sorry for not writing an essay the first time. Maybe suggest a minimum amount of words in my response that you expect next time.
