Yea it’s gonna be fun. I am loving the Phillies rotation this year. Getting Luzardo and then bringing up painter mid season will make them 6 deep

Say the Rangers wind up with the 13th pick, can they say to Pitts to take that pick and keep he pick next years?

I doubt they would, they’d basically be saying we think we’ll be worse next year than this year.

Well depending on the plans for next season, if they are really looking to get rid of CK20, Mika and maybe Miller could be rabbit, could be.

10th worst win % in the league

Standings finally starting to reflect how bad this team has been.

- TC88

Honestly, the writing has been on the wall for a long time this season. As soon as you play heartless hockey for any stretch of the season, it is almost impossible to regain the drive to win. This team lost that heart early on. Sad but true.

Offseason plan boys.

I hear people talk about skill level and talent. IMHO, that all comes second to having players that have guts and heart. Without those, combined with the drive to win, skill means nothing.

Their Fwds have talent but lack effort/heart. The defense is just flat out bad.

I know that they are paid to play but when your boss says we are open for business to trade anyone, it kind of rips your heart out.

No way Drury did this without an Ok from Dolan.

We will soon see his "Plan".

Step 1. Move on from Lav and Housley
Step 2. One of Jones or Key Miller will have to go. Both can stay if Soucy is moved.
Step 3. Move on from Mika. If possible.
Step 4. Optional. Move on from Kreider only if unable to move Mika.
Step 5. Move both Mika and CK20 and make a splash in UFA (I did not do my homework to see who is available).
Step 6. Hire Muse or Pecca as HC. Bring in Dan Girardi to run the D (we have been seeing a lot of him lately around games).

Regardless of what Mickey8 says, stay clear of Patrick Kane.

I know...I just don't get the boner he has for Kane. IF this was ten years ago, I'd have the same semi...but Kane is washed up now and cannot help this team moving forward.

Agreed. The way Drury went about things both in the off-season and during the season completely f’d this team this year. He’s also just not a good GM.

2024 - win the Presidents trophy, but blame Trouba Goodrow for not winning the cup.

2025 - trade Trouba Goodrow, not make the playoffs, say we haven’t seen Drury’s plan 5 years into being GM

That plan is already in discussion, as to why Girardi has been doing much more observing than we know of while appearing up close at their MSG games.
It could be that Lavy & Housley have sent K'Andre's game for one into reverse mode, from his promising forward progression made under Gallant's tenure.

Vally just absolutely needs to be considered for a major role with this team. I don’t know anyone who understands the game better from an analytical POV and then he has the nhl experience and is extremely familiar with the franchise. He also doesn’t tolerate nonsense. It seems so obvious to me unless he doesn’t want it. Coach? Maybe not. But maybe? More like a gm or assistant gm or some other role like that

Not much in FA, thats why I brought up if Pitt can take the 13th pick if we move on from CK20 and Mika, not sure if the return would be better.

It’s complete insanity to me that people defend “Drury’s vision” as if he just became GM this summer. Hes going on his 5th year as GM.

Soucy, eh, waste bc we had DeHann and I would’ve liked to see what we had in Robertson, but we’ll get that pick back at next years deadline. Jones needs to go, watching him pass the puck directly to the opposing team 5x a night drives me insane, plus he has 0 shot from the point for an “offensive dman”.

Robertson will be delt at the draft or just prior. He will need to clear waivers to go the the AHL beginning next season. I doubt he clears unless his contract sucks.

I am also not sole on Parssinnen. He comes across as an unpolished Kakko and I seriously do not want to see that again in a player.
