It was good trade.

The Kuzmenko trade was even solid getting a 3rd for a player who you probably were never resigning.

This offseason will be huge. Do they move Risto. York needs a new deal. Where do they end up for the draft. Can do they look to make hockey trades?

A thought I had was I would actually look to make Sanheim available and see if I can move him as I would rather keep York.

But they neeeeeed to get a top 4 pick. I need one of Schaefer, Martone, Misa or Hagens

It would be nice. So won’t happen

Dahlin is a fantastic player. I hope he demands a trade and tries to get out. He is a perennial Norris trophy winner toiling in purgatory. I would not be shocked to see Power traded. Signed long-term, but no NTC. They could get a haul for him in a trade. I do not agree with the path for the Flyers rebuild. At this point, the only possible way for it to succeed now is to make big trades to try and bring in players from other teams. There will be risked involved because of assets given up and salary and term taken on, but it must be done. I think Briere will do something in the summer.

They don’t have the assets to bring in enough talent even if they could use all their assets to build a winner. Nobody is giving up much for their roster players outside tk. Yeah you can package a bunch of young players and get a nice high end talent player or package all these picks and get a nice high player or 2 but even if you do all that what are left with? Mm and 3 or 4 high end players? And empty drafts and no young cheap talent coming? That never works
