Skinner Sucked today, anyone with eyeballs can see that. The Flyers took advantage, good for them. The Flyers played a good game and Edmonton was a bit out of sync and flat today.

Had company so missed the game, but Ek called it with the flyers breaking out the goals despite the bad line combos. I just hope we don't go on a win streak as some of our teams have done in the past before the trade deadline and we end up not making moves.

Virtually impossible to make the playoffs. They played well yesterday but they’d have to win like 18 of their remaining games to have a chance. I’d be sitting risto and Laughton with the tdl coming up. Kuzmenko looked solid and I expect him to be moved as well.

I’m starting to get on board with the fact that some teams might see value in him. Not at full price but with some retained by us. Absolutely no idea what he’d fetch on the market though.

Here is my take. If any legit cup contending team thinks Risto can fit into their top 4 and be a diff maker then there will be legit interest. Then he will have good value.

If not, I can't see a team trading for him with that contract. If flyers eat 50% then there will also be interest to a lesser degree value wise.

The Flyers however value him way more than any other teams. Their ask is probably out of touch with reality. They have no other replacements, which is very sad and embarrassing, so they have zero pressure to move him.

Torts has been messing with him for two years now. All the lines in a constant blender and normally saddles him with horrible wingers. Tbh I rarely understand torts like combos. There is something to be said with giving guys a stretch of games to find chemistry, rather than changing up mid game when things don’t instantly gel. It’s over coaching and what do we really have to lose? Give the young players some leash and let them fail rather than have them constantly on egg shells about being demoted, benched or scratched.

There is something to be said with giving guys a stretch of games to find chemistry, rather than changing up mid game when things don’t instantly gel.
