I was gonna go to hockley valley today, but heard the snow drifts were bad on certain roads. Which is normally fine for me to drive in, but i need to shocks, so any bump and the vehicle is bouncing sideways. Even with my all terrain tires.

I've been checking the traffic cams, and everything looks good on the highways. I don't have to venture onto any secondary roads, so as of now, we are going to head out around 3 pm.

McDavid just needs someone smart enough to get to the net. He made Maroon look like a goal scorer. I think Mac needs the same. How many times did he drive the net and a big rebound popped out and no one was there?

I’m torn between wanting to see the lines moved around and giving these guys some time to mesh. Someone said they spent most of their practice time working on special teams.

These guys are all good enough to be able to make the adjustments needed so they get the most out of each other. If there are some obvious improvements, make them and stay with them. Realistically, they have a couple of games to get it together.

I shoveled three times last evening and there was still a foot if snow today. Usually i have the boys out there but they were at their moms and her 1 car driveway. Lucky bastards. Missed out on our 7 car driveway this time.
Another 25cm expected this weekend

Took almost 4.5 hours to drive from Toronto airport to London last night. Highways were a 1ft of snow with little visibility. Had to detour off the highway because a plow ran into a fire truck.

I have no idea how at 430am there was no plows on the highways. That’s inexcusable. Cars were trying to merge onto the highway and would just hit a wall of snow. Saw it multiple times.

once saw two plows in a ditch driving to MTL in a snowstorm.

It's scary when plows have problems

The part to me that gets to me is they have a budget. We have little snow in that area thus far this year. As you said no excuse for not having plows out.

I am supposed to drive to London on Saturday morning.

Took my dog a good five minutes to find the perfect spot to poop.

My fiance's mini Schnauzer, so pretty much my mini Schnuazer, who I don't live with yet, apparently hasn't shot one one out in 24 hours which I can understand because the whole world is snow over her head right now.

(frank) those dogs turn into totally encursted snowballs in five minutes running in powder.

Ya they’re just lazy as hell. They plowed to the accident and then got off at the next exit.

I backread from the start of the game or so last night until now as I was not online - what a nightmare it was in here with the political debates (which is really sugar coating how it was), personal insults and the usual BS etc.

Marner's GWG was a great (yet surprising to me) shot because he doesn't do that nearly enough and by 'that' I mean become a shooter. I felt like (and I saw others post the same) he and Mc David are not a good combo because they are polar opposites in some ways. Mc David is and plays at an insanely fast pace and wants to beat guys with his speed (as he should and does) and shoot to score, for a rebound or pass to a guy who just puts their head down and gets to the net trying to keep up with him.

Marner wants to slow it down, draw guys to him and dish - it's oil and water in my opinion to have them on the same line and a waste of talent.

Binner made some big stops to keep Canada in it, I didn't love the goals against but I also don't really see any that I thought were horrific. Will be interesting to see who gets the start next game.

This. McDavid wants to drive the net with the puck, but when he does he pulls at least 2 defenders and a goalie to him - then he wants to dish to another net driver (like Hyman), or a guy setting up for a solid one-timer from the perimeter - like Draisaitl. Bennett can drive the net. Honestly, Reinhart could do the Draisaitl role very well. Marner with Point and Marchand . . .in an NHL environment I might argue the line was too small, but in this environment - you have a guy who goes to the net and is a pest and battles and Point who is both a solid playmaker and excellent shooter. On paper it should work.
- Monkeypunk

Ehh... Marner will be just fine with McJesus. He's got wheels and can think just as fast.

A few shifts are not enough to assess that they're not compatible.

Easy way to solve this. You got the first step, cry about it.

Second, print off all the pages that bother you, roll them up and stick them up your asss.

Third, fuuk right off.
