Meh financially sure, and we assume he is good with his money. But its just one thing in "winning"

His results have been pretty brutal, he came into this league when the league was going way too much into analytics, which he bought into all in. He inherited 4 young dominant forwards, and some other nice pieces and a good prospect system. In terms of expectations he failed miserably.

Onto Pitt, a significant challenge in keeping an aging team competitive, was a much bigger challenge for sure. He failed miserably again.

What Washington did is the ceiling, what Pitt has done is the floor. Expectations were to get Pitt somewhere in between.

I remember watching Keefe's end of season conferences and he looked like a dead man, soul sucked out of him and a huge stress ball. Dubas as well.

So yeah he has built a rep that will keep him employed and has set himself up for financial success but as for expectations and performance he has utterly failed and failed to adapt to an ever changing league. It is likely his last GM job for sure.

So I got an email from Ticketmaster about tickets for the 4 Nations Cup games in Montreal.

Out of curiousity I went on the Ticketmaster site to see what a ticket to the USA vs Canada game on the Sat night was worth. Face value, last row of the building in the corner - $514 Cdn per seat.

No wonder they have face value seats still available.
