If he’s healthy someone will take him. He’s a legitimate backup at the NHL level and can sub in as the #1 for a handful of weeks, granted health is the key. He was obviously signed because the Hawks brass didn’t have a lot of confidence in Soderblom, glad Soda did a nice job last year.

Supposedly the sharks are exploring the trade market on their second overall pick. Not sure if this is posturing but take it with a grain of salt.

Actually, 21 teams control 100% of first round picks, therefore 1/3 of teams do not have a first round pick. That tells me that good teams don’t give a hoot about later picks in the first round.

Like most, I have liked them all at one time or another. Hope they just sit and make the pick instead of doing a trade.

I am feeling Marton for the pick !!! .If not I want Brady Martin he stayed home on the farm ,if everyone cant go, I staying home and do chores .

Brady Martin couldn’t make the draft, he had to work on the farm. Man he’s a guy I’d love the Hawks to get.

I'm just saying that looking at both of their times in the AHL and NHL, they are basically the same guy at this point in time. Both are bigger bodies who play a physical game. Inconsistent and both have good potential, but it needs to be seen. I like Dach's body of work in RFD more than McGroarty's in the AHL.

Honestly, Dach has already surpassed my expectations. I didn't expect much but he seems to be a decent B prospect.

Off the top of my head McGroarty is out of The Program, 3 WJC's, a gold medal, pt per as a freshman at U of MI and 58 in 38 his sophomore yr, a couple Frozen Fours, 40 in 60 his first yr pro in the AHL went 14th overall and knocking people down all along the way.

I see little to no pedigree or results between the two. ....... Now, is that worth part of a package for the #3 is fair for scrutiny IMO.

Absolutely. No heart in the place. Just Buttman and the draftee on stage.

10 minutes away from possibly realizing the Hawks add a top 5 talent with size and skill. Martone is interesting. Fascinated to see what lever KD pulls knowing his D pipeline is bulging.

Still think they go Hagens. ....... If he was waiting for Misa to go until he made a move now is the time.
