Not enough to get 2OA. I would add Fla 1st too and see if that worked. if not, oh well

Sorry, I’m on the other side of the fence, I’d rather not give up three first round picks(includes KK)to move up one spot, even for Misa. Take the BPA @ 3OA, and trade those two picks plus for a young forward. Then you end up with one of Desnoyers, Frondell, Hagens or Martone, plus a young forward.

I've asked a couple times if Misa is really that much better than the others you mention here. It seems he's only marginally better, or people haven't seen enough of him to really say.

I'm with Lou here. Just take whoever you think is best of the rest this year and run. If any trade is to be made, it should be for an active player - especially in this draft where the pool seems to be a lot more even and without a lot of exceptional talent.

Isaac Howard

Question is can you get him for either 25 or 34? Walk away from draft with at least Hagens, Howard, and I'll be one of those here not female doging at the picks like i was last year.

Offer Crevier's RFA rights for Howard's rights? Desnoyers centering Howard and lil Frankie in a year or two could be fun to watch

For all the complaining you hear about size on this board, it doesn't seem to stop many here longing for Howard (listed 5'10" 180lbs).

Not saying you specifically, but I haven't heard anyone say that we've got too many guys like him already. Amazing what good performance does to a kid's measureables.

First of all, he's 5'11 Chunky so get your facts straight lol but for serious, I think it's because he's close friends with Nazar and they played on the same line in the UNDTP and WJC. Also, college teammates with Levshunov and Kaiser.

Isn't the pick Tampa gets if he doesn't sign in the 60's? I would offer Crevier's rights and #60

Comp pick would be #63 in next year's draft should he stay with Tampa until his rights expire

I agree Lou, 3rd OA is how you build through the draft, crazy the Blackhawks have now drafted 1, 2, and now 3rd OA in 3 straight years.

So now we have 1, 2, 3, 7, 13, 18, 19, 25, another 25th OA from Toronto again, I'd be fine with them trading the 25th as well but either way hoarding all the top talent in 4 drafts now is fantastic. It's going to be crazy when it all comes together

I'm not one of those. I want the best players and guys 5-10 or 11sh and 180+ lbs who can skate like the wind and score.......I'll take those guys all day long.

I've never seen Frondell play other than highlights, i saw Desnoyers play in Memorial cup and wasn't really impressed.

If i'm going just on highlights, I actually like Brady Martin the best.

I would offer a bit higher to get him now. Someone else could offer more that he would sign with.

If KD could get him for #34 I'd do it. Walking away with Hagens, Nesbitt, Howard, and William Moore with the first 4 picks would be a home run for me.

Howard may be costly. 52 pts (26g, 26a) in 37 games at MSU last season, Hobey Baker Finalist, played well in the Worlds tourney, etc. TB can trade him to any team at any time and may just keep him for a TDL chip since they’re in win now mode still. Kyle will need to blow them away to get him and worst case for TB, they lose him but get a 2nd round pick as compensation.
