Love the player, hate the deal. It’s pretty clear to me the Flyers have no intention of building through the draft, signing TK and Hathaway are clear proof of that. Apparently the Flyers plan to retool via trades and free agency. I don’t like the plan. I’m happy to be wrong but unfortunately have seen this movie before and know how it ends. - jd250

In 25-26 the Flyers will be spending at least $18,850,000 on four right handed right wingers. And that's before extending Foerster.
It's a very odd way for a team with Michkov to (re)build their roster. |

Easy question for the team owned media to ask now that rebuild has been exposed as phony.
How do you plan to acquire a 1C and a 1D? If it’s through the draft, with what will be low end first rounders, what are the probabilities of this plan coming to fruition? |

We already know they plan on throwing big money at free agents. Jones pretty much said so with all his talk about freeing up cap space in the future.

Don’t forget the NMC for the for the first 6 years. The Flyers are a train wreck. |

Its amazing. Like they couldn't get the deal done without it? Here ya go TK, not only are we going to over pay you on AAV and years, we will also give you an unnecessary NMC to prevent us from trading your untradeable contract for the foreseeable future.
Its brilliant.

It's the classic rebuild on the fly. - THE EVIL WITHIN
It was always a retool, intentionally misnamed for PR purposes. Hextall called it a retool when he did it.

He is a UFA, with UFA leverage. It's either choose not to sign him or if you sign him, its 8 years for a high AAV with movement clauses. No in between.

It’s time for Briere and Jones to go. I’m pretty sure I could do a better job than Briere. |

I've already seen enough from this clown show. What's the point of lying to the people that support you? They were clearly lying the whole time. Lost trust. Next please! |

They are full bore going for playoffs this year. In fact, they probably think it was dirty rotten bad luck they missed last year. |

Crumbling in the last month of the season certainly isn’t bad luck. Hart having to take a leave of absence is maybe their only bad luck. The rest they earned. |

I don't think they're full bore going for the playoffs this year. Only because they really can't. As soon as they get the cap cleared up, they will though. For sure.
