If he wins the Stanley Cup....is he Hall of Fame?
2 Vezinas, Presidents Cup, Stanley Cup, possible Conn Smythe, 700 gp, will hit 400 wins next season (at 396)
Is he a Hall of Famer? I think so.
Traded for a second rounder, to make room for Bryzgalov. - TheFreak
Funny I’ve never thought of him as an HOF guy…but looking at his #s you could make a strong case. A Stanley cup would really add to the argument. |

Another in a long line of bad decisions by the Flyers. |

With those numbers, if he wins the SC, he's very likely an HOFer. If he wins the SC and the Vezina, he's a stone cold lock HOFer. |

According to 32 Thoughts podcast today, the market for solid players that can move anywhere in the lineup is going to be strong this summer. If true, Flyers should leverage that demand and trade SL for as much as they can get. - Letterkenney
plus those 3 do not require a long-term commitment or an overpay in terms of money at the moment. that should attract the teams that miss out on free agency or don't want to pay the market price when free agency starts.
sadly the flyers view them as important players. |

what actions at the deadline? trading walker was easy. Was giving up a 4th for EJ smart?
No team is going to overpay for TK imo. He is being severely overrated by flyers fans to me. what is an overpay to you? - hello it's me 2050
I disagree that trading Walker was easy. They could have kept him to make the playoffs even if they knew he would walk. That would be the actions of a non rebuild. EJ was done to signal to the team that they weren’t giving up on them after they had worked had all year.
If someone offers nothing for TK that’s a problem. If they say we’ll give you a 3rd rounder that’s no good. I’d re sign with no nmc and hold out for a good deal. If we can’t get a haul for him then why send him out. To save cap space? |

This one stings right now. He’s in a zone. I hope he wins and gets the conn smythe tbh. Will remind the flyers fan base that goaltending does matter haha.

I’m routing for the Oilers. I don’t think they’ll win but I’m routing for them. I want to see McJesus get a cup. |

Agreed, it wasn’t easy to trade Walker. But they did and got a good return. Some folks just want to be negative to be negative. |

well we disagree on the walker and EJ as he was toast and showed he was toast. they wanted to re-sign walker let's not forget.
no one is offering a 3rd for tk. any smart person knows this. you are fooling yourself if you think he re-signs and doesn't get a nmc.
you are not getting a haul. not sure why peeps think he will. that is the flyers line of thinking and why he will not be moved and re-signed. well we couldn't get the silly asking price we put on tk. |

He is inching closer to the HOF nomination if he's not there already. He seems to be getting even better these last few years.
I love Ed Snyder but damn did he drop the ball on that decision to get bryz. I know he just wanted a Cup again but geez... it still hurts |

I'm rooting for the cats. i want to see maurice, bob and barkov win. I also really like bennett as a player. him along with reinhart, tkachuk, verhaugue, rodriguez etc. I just like that group - just a well-balanced, well-built team.

It's crazy that the Flyers highlight of a guy with an 8 yr/50 mill contract will be the day he get's traded with a draft pick for cap space. - Flyers_01
I'm not going to suggest Poile knew of any potential.long term health issues, but the package he accepted for Ellis was vastly different then Eckholm.
Arguably the assets Fletcher gave for Risto could have gotten him Reinhart instead.

only in jaded flyers land can they be criticized for something they didn't do. the mental gymnastics you go through so you can still have a reason to whine is astounding. |

you're so gullible if you believe DB when he says this - just nothing GM speak.
aren't you one of the folks who constantly harp on the idea that "actions speak louder than words?"

Are you saying the decision to trade him wasn’t easy?
If you’re truly rebuilding then that’s a very easy decision. He was a 29 yr old defenseman having a career year. You absolutely sell high on a player like that. Just like they should have with Seeler.
Rebuilding or not, you don’t invest long term in a player who just had a significant outlier season this late in their career. That’s how you get into salary cap hell.

it is a fact they wanted to re-sign him. flyers love fans like you. you are the target market.

you didn't answer the question. really not a hard one to answer. wouldn't walker then say no they didn't try? why would they lie about that at that time? yet I am gullible. love sunday entertainment.
Do you think they did?
if only I was as bright as you the sky would be the limit |

Nee mock draft from clutchpoints is out. They have us selecting konsta helenius one pick before Sam Richardinson goes
Maybe it's just me....but... I'd be highly upset if they choose helenius over Richardinson.
Richardinson seems like a solid top 4 dman at the least.
Who would you rather see the flyers take?
They had yakemchuck taken by Buffalo at 11OA |

walker went to a cup contender. why on earth would he feel the need to make any comment about it whatsoever?
you're asking a lot of questions that show me you just don't get it. i will attempt to explain this again to you. things leak out to people like EF for a reason. they want it to be known. what they don't want you to know, you won't know - as we've seen with the Cutter situation and Michkov being in Voorhees.
you let it be known you "tried to sign him/wanted him here" because A) it drives up the price when other teams think we're not desperate to get rid of him. B) it tells the players and fans that they are not just giving up on the season when you still had a shot at the playoffs. "we tried - but in the end we did what was best for the team moving forward"
you acting like they had some tough sessions of negotiations and couldn't get it done and passing it off as fact is hilarious - and it just shows you're a gullible stooge who believes everything a GM says OR you're being obtuse so you have a reason to whine about something i.e. trading Walker and getting a first.
