You’ve gotten kind of weird with this goalie stuff Cush. It’s like you’re hanging on to things. There’s nothing personal going on here bud.

I think your reading into what I write a bit too much, it's not personal to me at all I am just trying to make my POV understood much like you and others are.
The entire thought that the Leafs only lost this series due to one thing is not what I think at all and in here often it feels like that's what some folks want to do - lay the blame on one thing.
Many others are more accepting that it's a combination of things going wrong, I subscribe to that and perhaps / admittedly some of that is due to me being a goalie I don't know but it's not like the Leafs led every game, scoring a bunch of goals and then lost games due to softies.
I don't think Sammy was why they lost but I can totally get that the first goal he gave up was frustrating and not horrific but not great. A better team (a team that scores 2 or more goals per game - so not the Leafs in the past 2 playoff series) can shake that off, pick up their goalie and rally and score to retake the lead.
That's not who the Leafs are unfortunately.
If Woll was healthy for game 7 I absolutely would have wanted him in after the last 2 games he played - I also don't think he would have shut out the Bruins for essentially a second straight game but that's just me.
I also think starting Sammy in the series was the right call - I wish they had tightened up defensively to start the series and not waited until Game 5, things may have ended up much much differently had they but it is what it is.
They need to score more in the playoffs if they want to win, expecting a goalie (any goalie) to give up 1 or none every game in the playoffs is never going to work.
The loss is on the whole team, goalies included but if we had to start to divide the blame I'm not placing more of that blame on anything other than lack of scoring.
Maybe then defensive effort (team wide) in games 1-4 and then goaltending.
Anywhooooo not angry, upset or taking any of this really to heart, it's post mortem hockey talk & nothing more.
Hoping to see change in the offseason - I'm sure I'll be disappointed with how little.
