apparently there's a racket in mexico where dudes will sell to you and then tip off the police so the police can then go and extort you when they arrest you

they can advance 2x in 5yrs. They would have to finish last during the McKenna draft. They advanced for Bedard and would need to win again this year for Celebrini.
- Symba007

Whoever gets the first pick will take Celebrini..

But a team like Chicago should target players who’ll end up being playoff performers.. Iginla, Lindstrom, Richardenson.

You can acquire guys who can score through trades/FA..

But no team is trading away big players who play a heavy game, and also put up points.

Kyle Dubas is the biggest fraud in pro sports. Leaving Schneider on the board was pure idiocy.

Habs, Lightning, Panthers ...and Bruins this year? You knock out the Leafs and you're almost guaranteed to reach the Cup final!

It's the frustration that unites us ..so close, yet so far away.

- The Law

Bruins went to the Final last time they beat the Leafs.

4 out of the last 5 teams to be the Leafs went to the Final. Washington won the Cup the year after they beat the Leafs as well.

The 1st round in this division has effectively become the Conference Final.

Seth Jarvis

Think about that.

No thanks to moving him out.

Wouldn't cost you a 1st round pick. Tavares still scores a lot more than Marleau did.

It would only cost a 1st round pick if the Leafs retain 0 dollars in salary.

My nephew’s wife drowned snorkeling in Cozumel. When she didn’t come back he flagged down a police car (local police) to get them to take him to the police station to report her missing. Instead they just drove him around and wouldn’t let him out of the car. Luckily someone he knew saw him in the car and got the federal cops to get him out.

If you get the first overall pick, you're considered having won the lottery, even if you finished last.

Trade Rielly, Brodie, Woll for Kadri, Markstrom and Zary.

(I didn’t run the number or check who’s contract says what so (frank) off)

- Arctic_AARDVARK

Forget about kadri.

Fine you were right but I think that's stupid. You have "odds" of winning the lottery, you win it even if you have the best odds.

And since you were right about something stupid.

You're stupid.

Which was very sad and unfortunately. However, he was the wrong pick regardless. He wasn't the type or the position the Leafs needed nor was he the best player available.

Yes, we’re all aware. Tragic. RIP.

However, Schneider is exactly what they needed, not another smallish skilled winger. Schnieds came in and make an impact on a cup contender right away.

But Doobie thought he knew more than everyone.

I saw a 6 foot 7 C projected to go 25th.

Can we just pencil him in already?

He can go nose to nose with Rempe in a few years.
