I 100% see a world where the leafs have Woll, Sammy, Murray as goalies next year.

Oh yeah. They're gonna run this motherbozaker back harder and deeper than ever before. Open your wallets, bend over, and get ready to once again cheer for all the same "nice things" next season.

The true ingenuity of the failed "plan" Brendan Shanahan authored, is that it cannot be undone. Its like the Gordian Knot of roster construction. Unbelievable, except in Toronto.

Seems strange to me also.

Because of his Defense & all around game I'd take him over Kuch for a finalist -

I haven’t spent a single penny in my adult life towards anything Maple Leafs.

I imagine there’s lots of fans like me out there who have done the same.

the best #23 picks since 2000-2020
Ryan Kessler and Boeser

about 70% forgettable players

Gabe Perreault last season by the Rangers was an absolute steal at #23.

I had him #8 on my list ffs.

I saw a 6 foot 7 C projected to go 25th.

Can we just pencil him in already?

He's an interesting prospect but yeah the lack of competition he plays with makes it hard to evaluate how good he is.

He's big though!

I am okay with that.

If they do draft him I trust the Leafs scouts.

I obviously know nothing about him other than him being huge and could even grow another inch or 2.

Worth the gamble in my opinion.

For the Leafs anyways, I think a team not in a rebuild would be smart to take him.

Always depends on who's still available but yeah, he's a pick that makes sense in the 20's.

If Tree sticks around, I am not looking forward to how he molds this team further.

Meh, bringing Domi worked. Bertuzzi was useful although not as good as I thought he'd be.

Signing Nylander was the right thing to do. He signed Matthews to a new contract too.

So far, aside from the Klingberg fiasco and the "low cost, no reward" Reaves signing.... he didn't do too bad.

Big decisions to come though.
