If we managed the first overall pick again, the fanbases around the league will hate us for 20+ years.

They should be thanking us as we will drive revenue up and increase the salary cap, win win for everyone!

One thing about winning the draft lottery, it’ll make Davidson’s job easier and calm the angst among us posting here about who to pick. My favourite new choice, if the Hawks choose between 2-4 is Sam D!ckinson. Watching him in the OHL playoffs he reminds me of a better skating, more skilled Shea Webber with more offense.

i would agree winning the lotto makes the pick that much easier. if we land between 2-4 wow there are some choices. Be pretty hard for KD to pass on one of the Defensmen for a forward IMO.

im wondering if KD takes a shot at

one nut Debrusk in July. if he could be had for say 4-5 over a 3-4 year term he would bring some nice grit to the line up and secondary scoring.

de Brusk makes $4 mil. now. For that money $4 or $5 IMO he stays with the Bruins.

Will be interesting to see what the Bruins get for Ullmark in a trade. My guess is he becomes a cap casualty.

DeBrusk and TT would OK to add.

Garland from VAN might work - VAN won't pay you to take hime but shouldn't cost much. Kakko has been up and down but might be interesting.

Of course the Player Who Cannot Return still seems like a good fit to me.

It's crazy what a perfect fit he would be, he certainly hasn't forgotten how to score. And he was one of the guys Bedard has said he patterned his game after.

Keeping in mind that the UFAs that fit KD's requirements we're looking at low to mid tier players.

DeBrusk falls into this tier, but I could see a team overpaying him after the playoffs. I'd target either Domi or Roslovic. Not world beaters, but they would be a nice supporting cast for Bedard and Celebrini.

Sounds like one of the big factors for him is term, but probably he also wants to be with a contender still, which we are not yet. I have a feeling KD might not want to give out the dollars over term for him to come back.

Roslovic would be good, I would also go for Alex Wennberg

There's precious few of those guys in the league. There's gonna be some competition for their services.

In the Golden age the most we had was one, Bickell. Guys like Toews, Hossa and even Sharp were great along the boards and in the corners. We forget, Sharp was six foot 200 pounds. I would have hoped Raddysh turned into something like them.

Sign Debrusk and trade for Brock Nelson. I would think the Islanders need to change things up and he's only got a year left. Big guy, plays hard and put up 69pts, almost evenly spit between goals and assists.

I wouldn't mind either of those guys. Nice depth pieces.

DeBrusk was a dumbass in Jr, can you imagine playing a game in the WHL without a CUP!

You could add Ladd as well in 2010

Byfuglien was playing forward in 2010 as well.

Buff definitely counts. With being in Luongo's head and taking out Pronger, that counts.

We need a Buff type in this lineup

Nelson was drafted with a pick that originally belonged to the Hawks. The #30 pick in 2010 was traded for two 2nd round picks that were used to select Ludvig Rensfeldt and Kent Simpson.

Troy Brouwer, Ben Eager, Andrew Ladd, Tomas Kopecky and he wasn't as big but the scrappy Adam Burish.

Nah, not for me. After #1 you can justify a lot of players upfront and backline that can/should/could be taken without much second thought by the fan base.

BM, I've been using onhockeytv for 5-6-7 yrs for all of my hockey other than the USHL which I pay to see. I do not pay for anything other than the USHL.

onhockeytv has been a savior for me.I can and have watched the NHL, Liiga, KHL, SHL, all international tournaments, all CHL (OHL, WHL, QMJHL) all NCAA for free, everyday.

I've never had a problem with the 3 computers I've used to watch the reddit illegal streams. Not sure of your tolerance for the risk but I've never had a problem with a virus...... But you have to fool around to find out how and which streams work best as far as volume and full picture or streams that work best without buffering.

I use fluidtv link for the CHL and NCAA. xstream, vodacst are two to try for the NHL. These are links at onhockeytv that you can use. Some games have 30 links.

sportsurge is a site that does have hockey and works best for the NFL and MLB.
- Mr Ricochet

As in IT guy its not a virus that will get you it will be them stealing your information. the days of a virus messing up your computers with the exception of Cryptolocker are gone. Its all about your info and clicking on a stream opens a direct port for there access. If you are going to access it this way do it with a machine that has no access to anything important. They get people ever day using that site its only a matter of time. Plus the 300 bucks for the subscriptions is alot less than having your bank account drained.
- SaskHawkFan

Hey Sask, thanks for taking the time to respond. Who knows, you may have saved someone 100k. Never know........

I wanted to respond yesterday as this is important. Obviously it's important cuz it may save someone real money and near as important for me it dictates my ability to see hockey at all levels from all over the world for free.

My 20 yr old computer gave up and served me well. I'm old and do NOT link to any of my bank accounts ANYMORE to pay bills but did with my 20 yr old computer to my credit union from which I paid 1 credit card. ... That account had pennies in really where my check was direct deposited and I'd pay that credit card which I used for gambling. I'd withdrawal cash and give it to the home boss on payday.

Never ever had a problem. Ever. But I have Norton protection and Geek Squad which I have scrub my system 5-6 times a yr. It's been at least 5-6 yrs since I use reddit for hockey.

On my new computer I don't link to any bank accounts, none. No credit cards either. Best of my knowledge if I got malwared there is nothing to fraud me on.

You threw out a number of 150 bucks to get my hockey so why steal? My USHL package runs 150 bucks. The NTDP would be 100+ bucks. NHL 125 bucks. NCAA I have no idea but 150 bucks to see the conferences I'd need, at least. Probably 200 bucks. OHL and WHL would be 250 bucks. No idea what it would cost for the SHL or Liiga, 100 bucks each? ..... Equals over 1,000 bucks. Per yr!!

I always thought if I got a yr and my computer fried from reddit streams I'd be ahead a few hundred cuz I'd replace the machine for 700ish bucks. If I got 2 yrs of streams from the machine I'm ahead 1,400 and on and on. It's lasted without consequence for over 5 yrs.

That's my story and you as an expert pointed out to me and the reader the risks which could be crazy big depending on how you access your finances and with which computer..... Something people need to decide for themselves.

And thanks again for your expertise, SaskHawk.
