I've heard of people doing this a LOT.
I talked to a guy at a Blue Jays game a few years ago that told me he has season's tickets for the Yankees and he basically pays for them by selling all the tickets against the Red Sox, Mets and other big draw teams. He flew to Toronto and got seats for about the same as the price of his seats.
...that ain't gonna work anymore, now that Rogers has spent over $400M on renovations. Too bad they won't (frank)ing win anything.

In 2017 I flew to Montreal for Game 2 and it was cheaper to do that and get a hotel room for the night than to buy tickets at MSG. Unfortunately it was the game Plekanec tied with 18 seconds left and then Radulov won it OT but it was my first and only time at the Bell Centre which was really cool

I'm fine with having no award recognition and not being the betting favourite. Gives the team just a bit more of a dog mentality in the playoffs. If anything it gives Lavy and the group a bit more motivational material

regular season wise, this year has been the cherry on top of Laviolette's great regular season coaching career, and he never has won the award, which just seems crazy considering how long he's been around
