TK who disappeared down the stretch š |

Their blueline is old and not very good. Curious what the plan is going forward. The UFA market for blueline starts with Walker and Dumba. Pretty slim pickings. - Trox88
add: pesce skjei montour OEL (had a solid bounce back) as the headliners. No top #1 guys though.
would like to see the flyers add back phil myers for some depth. see if shaw can help him.... |

Thats the kind of player you want to build around - you don't pay him over 7.5M though - he just is not worth that |

With what money?
Domi and Bertuzzi are UFAs.
Woll will want a new contract with a raise
need a backup goalie
Knies will want a new contract with a raise
The big 4take up over 40 million.
I know the cap is going up but not that much
They will either have to trade or resign Marner and/or Taveres - WhiskeyMan
I agree, trading Marner can get them cap relief and assets. Tavares will be 34 when next season starts, he has little trade value. Since Marner can be a UFA next summer, have to believe any team trading for him will have an extension worked out.

Yupā¦but remember heās a guy thatās well over a point a game in the regular seasonā¦his play drops in the playoffs.
Listenā¦Marner is elite. He has to pick his play up in the playoffsā¦not fall off. Maybe one day it clicks inā¦but until it does heās going to hear it from this fan base and rightfully so. - landros 2
Over a point per game player in regular season & almost a ppg in playoffs. Tk under ppg in regular season & completely disappeared down the stretch but the homers want to lock him up as a build around piece lol. Marner is soft tho no doubt about it but tk is not a corner stone piece |

It would not surprise me to see them add to the blueline. The way Attard, Ginning, and even Zamula were handled down the stretch does not suggest they are vital pieces going forward. I don't believe Risto is part of the long term plan, but first he has to get healthy to even try to move.

if they add it will be via trade. I believe that 100% they add.
I do not see any way they have 3 or even 2 of Attard, Ginning, Andrae, and Zamula in the top 6.
seeler

so 5 are set. |

I like TKā¦.but exactly how do the Flyers think they can acquire young talent if they are not willing to trade some valuable parts? Itās not like they have a bunch of elite pieces to move. All though not what I would call elite, Konecny has a very high valueā¦.talent, edgy, coming into prime years, very serviceable contract for next year. |

Most likely Attard goes back home to play unless he gets traded and lands a NHl gig. So basically heās gone. |

I do believe Attard and Ginning won't have a top 6 role for the Flyers long term. Zamula is on the fence yet. The issue for Zamula the Flyers have Andrae and McDonald who are.already in the AHL, who will probably get a chance to see NHL playing time. I would not be shocked to see Zamula traded in the summer. |

Reggie Leach scored 61 goals in a season - how long has it been since the team had a 40 goal scorer? 50?
Yet fans think this team doesn't need offensive players like Mitch Marner - corduroy
I believe Carter in 08-09 was the last to hit 40. Fifty? Probably have to go back to Leclair in the 90s. |

Macleish
Barber
Leach
Kerr
Recchi

So if you let TK's contract run and don't extend, he has a 3-11 bday, that would make him 29 and 7 months go into FA season. What is a almost 30 year old, 60 point winger worth contract wise. I know today 7.5 does not sound like enough for an FA, but I have a hard time believing at almost 30, 2 more years of the league getting younger, TK would command a 7-8 year deal worth 9 mil.
I mean the Flyer could just let the contract play out if they can't get the trade they are looking for. |

Can't argue, would like to see what Zamula looks like after hitting the gym this summer. Maybe Andrae plays lights out next series and becomes a real option for PP or trade.

that is absolutely idiotic. let it run out instead of getting anything. |

zamula has been hitting the gym for many years now. just leave him be instead of trying to alter his genetics. |

I think Zamula starts the season with the Flyers, but thereās a good chance heāll be gone before itās over
York-Sanheim
Seeler-Drysdale
Zamula-Risto
is probably the opening 6 if all are healthy. Attard is the likely 7th since the odds of both Drysdale and Risto staying healthy are pretty slim.
Andrae could be a mid season replacement if and when Zamula is moved. |

Or he would score more playing with higher level talent? That can be looked at both ways ya know? - Phillywhiteout
Or he can be another Zach Hyman on a contending team. |

They COULD. But I don't think they should. It would be a huge distraction for the whole organization. I believe they either have to trade him or sign him this off-season.
