No comment on that interesting display of logic.
On a more interesting note, why are so many of your digs so evocative of the 1940s/1950s kid banter? Who says things "like take your ball home" amongst middle-aged dudes? One time, you told me to take my toys home.
Another time, you asked Fopa21 whether Giroux had stood him up while he went for cigarettes. And that he shouldn't fret because Giroux is a with different girl now and is happy.
Who says things like that today? Don't get me wrong. It's charming in a weird way. - PT21
A classic PT21 attempt at deflection. Sort of like ignoring the context and arguing the meaning of a word or the definition of a word. Not according to the actual one, but your twisted version of course |

There was a bolded portion you did not include. Read that part again. - mickel25
I did, and hoped you wouldn't bring it up.
You interpret querying someone to back up subjective statements with data as taking your ball and going home in a huff?
Are you drunk? |

They did provide data. You just did not like the data.

Who is the they? Tomahawk? The WAR (data) was posted after the comment you quoted.
It might at this stage be helpful to actually marshal your thoughts and provide something resembling coherence.... |

More classic PT21. The conversation is not going your way and you're looking foolish so now it's time to move to insults.
The use of the subjective "stratospheric" was also strategic. |

This WAR thing is a mystery to me. Can you provide me with a ranking of current WARs of players? Where is Point in that ranking? - PT21

Sadly Bacon stopped posting for 23-24 and I'm not gonna pay for Evolving Hockey. |

You are a nice guy and a gentleman. I have on many occasions admired these qualities.
But be grateful that you are in a board where standards of debate are so low and are made anonymously. Because of you replicated your arguments of the preceding hour in any real life forum ...

He cannot help himself. Maybe not be today but undoubtedly he will use that at some point in the future as proof I am inferior to him. 100% it will happen.

Would that real life forum be with the rest of your elites? You know the intellectually superior scholars such as yourself. If the standard of debate is so low on here, why do you have such difficulty making intelligent replies to refute the low level arguments offered?

Is calling a dumb person dumb a sign of elitism?
I thought guys like you were against political correctness?

Actually no, that's just the group you think you belong with and that you think is better than everyone else. Your repeated need to, when you lose the debate, which is often the case. To have to attack someone personally. Or to deflect to something out of the context such as you did today. Is a sign of a lack of intelligence and a dumb person. The irony is that by calling someone dumb, you don't realize how you make yourself look stupid. It's hysterical.

I looked at this. Thanks. But I don't see a WAR column organized by %.
Am I overlooking something? - PT21
It's just the players ranking expressed in percentile.
So if Point was 10th out of ~900 players so he was 98-99%.
Kuch was ranked 28th out of ~900 players so he was 96-97%.

Not necessarily. But the state of being dumb is not something subjective.
It is like being shorter than average. It is a fact.
And it is a impediment to debate. One has to work harder to overcome it.

I think it is amusing that you are focusing on the nuances of mickel25 terminology about "who says this/that anymore." All the while, your writing is on par with an low-end Ivy school dropout that keeps his Thesaurus within arms length at all times.
I couldn't make it but look at me! I am smart! Get over yourself.
