Yea could see that too, 72-21-24/50-21-26 lines

Jmo, but I think we’re playing with fire dressing Rempe vs the Canes. They are a completely different animal, it’s like going from facing a kitten to facing a lion

Boomer talking about this right now lol he’s saying Wennberg on the 4th line

- Slimtj100

I think we all agree that Rempe should sit. But it is crazy how on fire they are with Rempe. Some of it in my opinion is that Rempe only plays 4-5 mins and this gives Lavi the flexibility to double shift a top six player in that spot.....and more so give him the ability to create match ups

Yo!!
How's everyone feeling??
Better than some of these miserable of twitter I hope. The best ones I saw were, Kreider sucks, Trouba sucks, not a convincing sweep, but but the Rangers only scored on the power play and Sandin and Jensen were going to spark a comeback. (that was pregame, some dude was either trolling or really thought those two were going to somehow make life hard for the Rangers) Instead Jensen assisted on Kakko's goal and Sandin took the late penalty that iced the game and the series.

what was the stat, we only trailed 3 minutes in the whole series?

Chytil wouldn’t be practicing if they didn’t expect him to play, so he has to be an option for game 1
- Slimtj100

Where would you put him? There is no easy answer to this question bc you can argue not a thing should change. Assuming it's Carolina, they are a way different team than the Caps. Much faster, more skill and more likely to exploit Rempe's lack of speed.

Chytil on RW1, Roslovic was very solid in this series and is Fil ready to play top 6 mins? But do they break up the 3rd line? If you believe Kakko and Cuylle are the main drivers of that line, inserting Fil at center given the past chemisrty he has had with Kakko makes sense and dropping Wennberg to the 4th line could work. Wennberg-Vesey,Goodrow is out there a lot for d-zone starts in a tight game as it is right now.

Oh the coach has a hard decision on his hands. I trust Coach Pete a lot, I won't have issue with whatever he decides. For now, we get to sit and chill for a week before we get all amped up again...

That's not convincing enough. They need to lead all 240 minutes and 4 shutouts!! You think the Kings sat there in 2014 after winning in 5 games saying, "but we had the lead in only one of the wins bc we came back late to tie the other games and won 3 of them in OT" Not convincing enough....

Mika had a “quiet” 7 pts and Vinny T with 6. Our top 2 centers got the job done. I believe Roslovic is 3rd on the team with 4 pts so far.

Fil aint gonna be on the 4th line we know that. We’ll have to watch the practices lines to see what’s going on. Goodrow Wennberg Vesey I’d assume. Wennberg doesn’t bring much offense and we’ll need more offense vs the canes is the thing, I’m excited to see Cuylle Fil and Kakko

We have options which is a good thing however they line up

- Slimtj100

Cuylle has been great. I have no issues with anything he has done. But his skill set and what he brings to a game can be effective on the 4th.

Put Fil on the wing with Wennberg and Kakko.

I think that’s the lineup I like best also. Cuylle on the 4th with Goodrow and Vesey.

Cuylle's pursuit of the puck has been excellent. He gonna just get better and better offensively.

Laf obviously had a great start to the Caps series, but I feel like of anyone on the team he was the most lacking the last two games. The second line as a whole had a touch of meh yesterday.

other than his complete brain fart turnover in the 3rd that put goodrow in the box, i thought trouba was fantastic.

he's quietly been playing very well. hat tip to lavy for switching that pair up!!

I mean he got lucky there. Couldn't even get mad at Goodrow because he had to take that penalty.

I thought Laffy had a serious lull in game 3, but thought he was much better last night. He was engaged, in on the forecheck, back defensively, was involved in decent chances on offense... Not going to score every night, but I felt he was in there making things happen.
