That's because the amount of minutes and opportunities he is given , we can't expect to beat a top team with a hand tied behind our backs

In JT I trust !!!

He's playing like sh!t but if this team is as deep as people say, then it doesn't come down to one skater who is playing poor, being shut down, or injured. Good teams have to find a way to deal with these things.

So let me get this straight... in JT you trust but you don't think he can overcome/carry if Petey playing like sh!t?

That doesnt sound much like "trust".

I think JT can overcome it.

Why da frack we paying EP as our best / top player , when it's clear he's a distant 3rd behind QH and JT ?

It's like we committed long term to a regular season player , and all we want as fans is a cup

He might be more Yashin/Nedved then Yzerman/ Sakic type

Why do you keep aiming all this rage about Petey and his contracts at the people who have trust in management? At what point are you going to grow a pair and aim it at management who signed him to that huge contract and rag on them about it?

Let's not forget that he put it off until the summer but management gave him an ultimatum to sign 11.6 or it's time for them to explore trades. If they had of waited until summer like they had all agreed, Petey would be in a terrible position to negotiate, and it very well could have played out with them moving on.

How ever this ends, management will be the one responsible. Hopefully it's a situation where we are all patting them on the back... not the disaster ending that a few people in here are predicting. Which ever way it turns out, you can give the witch hunt a break. Me and other rational people didnt push this contract with a ultimatum. We are fans, not Canuck's front office. My position all along is they will sign him to what they think is fair... but if it's not and it's hurting the team, I expect them to trade him.
