2014 playoffs I did 6 miles on the cross trainer wearing the same shirt and hat while hydrating with Blue Point Hoptical Illusion (before they were sold). Not saying my wife was happy the playoffs ended, but she was really happy to wash those clothes.

Same t shirt, same shirt ( not washing either until they lose), same spot on couch. Yes I think it has alot to do with all 3 wins.

I’ve drank Voodoo Ranger IPAs for all 3 games this series and will happily go out of my way to buy it for the next 13 as long as we continue to win

I pick a beer each year in the playoffs to drink until they lose and then I switch and this year my wife suggested voodoo Ranger because it had ranger in the name and that was enough for me. I married a smart woman!

That never occurred to me until I saw your earlier post. My playoff rule is a NY IPA. We nearly won the Cup off Hoptical Illusion.

I have mostly Irish heritage and it annoys me that you have the word Irish in your username.

That was a terrible first goal allowed by Shesty. He stops that 999 times out of a thousand. But he played spectacularly outside of that one. Lots of great saves.

Refs were terrible. That Rempe hit was not a penalty. Thankfully Rangers are more dangerous on the PK than the Caps are on the PP.

Some quick thoughts in Jans' absence:

1) Ovi looks washed. No extra effort, and he is getting outplayed by guys like Vesey and Goodrow! First ballot HOFer but his career looks to be finished...

2) Rempe. Must keep him in the lineup even at the risk of the refs singling him out for penalties real or imagined. He is a weapon. Even in limited minutes, he is impacting the game. Every time their defensemen go back to retrieve a puck, they are nervous and looking over their shoulder. None of them want to get hit like TVR. That hit got the attention of the entire building. He put TVR into Tuesday! Wilson can't go after Panarin or Fox when he is preoccupied with Rempe...

3) Rangers fans should be proud! Could loudly hear Igor chants on the broadcast and visually see many more Blueshirts in the stands than I would have expected! Caps crowd was weak booing Panarin, even Oshie admitted his hit was clean!

4) Our 4th line is a collective force! Yes Goodrow had a totally forgettable regular season but he has turned into Claude Lemieux in the playoffs! Noticeable on every shift and he got the game winner tonite! Pure money!!!

5) Get the brooms: Lets finish off this mismatch on Sunday and get some needed rest. No reason to have this series get back to MSG!

Winnipeg took a lead into the 3rd last night but took like 5 penalties and Avalanche whipped their asses on the PP
