3rd night of the ref show - stripes are horrendous this series

First 3-0 series lead since the 07 thrashers series. That's one of my earliest Rangers playoff memories. Remember how good that one felt, and how crushing the Sabres loss was

Rempe’s interference and Cuylle’s boarding were brutal. Those were not penalties. Wennbergs hook was a fine call. The lindgren/goodrow crosschecks I thought were weak. Gus’s slash was probably a penalty

So 2/6 I agree with, meaning I agree the reffing was once again awful

Good thing we have as many SH goals as they have PP goals this series

If you watched the TNT broadcast they interviewed Trocheck after the game and he talked about how Lavy instilled in them during training camp the need to be in constant motion in the offensive zone and how that really disrupted teams that play man to man in the dzone which Carolina does.

Between that and our success vs the canes in the past I have no worries about facing the canes next round.

They will be tougher than the caps no question but I think they will be equally as concerned about playing this rangers team
