I read some BS online article saying the league jammed it to the Leafs by making them play their 1st game of the series so early on denying them additional time to let Nylander heal up to get into a game. Leafs played 2 games before some team (I can't recall who) had even played one.

I guess it cuts both ways depending on the POV.

Oh I know… getting an original six who is the most popular team in hockey play their first game against one of the other original six on the first Saturday night AND first overall night of the playoffs must have been about screwing over the leafs
