Both.
Woulda been nice to see them play on even ice.
For me, the TSN turning point was Leafs on powerplay, scramble in front of Bruins’ net, B’s D smothers the puck with closed glove. No call.
5 on 3 would have given the Leafs’ PP a chance to get jumpstarted. - Atomic Wedgie
Mine was the mcavoy take down on Matthews.
Leafs go to pp and that Frederick goal doesn’t happen.
Also what the wtf was with Boston setting pics but when the leafs do it they score goals a bad get them called back. |

You guys gotta let the reffing poop go. I guarantee you Boston was not pleased with the reffing either. They beat us on the special teams, anyway. The Leafs found a way to lose this game. |

Marner, Liljegren, Marner, Liljegren.......these two are going to cost the Leafs the season. Marner's giveaways and Liljegren coughing up the puck and getting outmuscled. I've had enough of these two. Can't win with them in the lineup. Dubas midget brigade. |

Why have Marner on the PK. Strategy seems to be give him as much runway as you can give him to blow the funk, but the PK blows and I'm positive you can replace him in that spot.
Save the extra minutes on him.
Special teams need a big shake up, this coaching staff is stuck on the Babcock plan. Keep trotting the same groups out endlessly anticipating different results.
Special teams is costing them the series to date. Even without half a Marner and no Willy its the difference maker. |

I feel like the Leafs are the better team. Special teams and a better goalie probably mean the Bruins win this though. Especially when you throw in the ref factor - PlatosRepucklic
I don’t think we can ask more from Sammy than we got tonight. Sure one goal against was kinda m’eh but Sammy bailed them out a lot tonight.
Special teams again are the difference and despite some people’s stupid (frank)ing bs “Marner is the best” posts.
For the 10.9 M he is paid he was the worst Leaf tonight if you are doing a value for money evaluation.
Tell me and prove to me I’m wrong.
If the Leafs can’t figure out their special teams they are cooked poor officiating or not it won’t matter. |

Kind of meh is charitable. More like "Joe Nieuwendyk on Patrick Lalime (frank)ing awful". Same goal. But yeah, goaltending not the main issue. Bad special teams and poor decisions. Add it up, typical Leaf playoff loss - found ways to lose a very winnable game. |

So just let him hold your stick and fall down. Don't (frank)ing reach around another guy and pull him down. - joel878
100% I could not believe he did that. He was going to get a holding-the-stick penalty if he just jerked back. Didn't even need to fall down. It was a certainty and he (frank)ed it up.

Sammy was solid for the most part. But he's prone to some very weak goals. I'm definitely not going to blame him for the loss but Swayman isn't giving them anything. Clear advantage Boston. Agreed on special teams and Marner |

Leafs were the much better team the last two games. Nylander would make a HUGE difference, put him on the third line and spread out the talent.
Special teams are abysmally bad and could cost us the series. I'm still optimistic. |

Sammy had one just hit him, after being fired in from center ice after the goal. Where was his concentration? It may be Woll time, but Keefe won't do it. Ride or die on a slightly flawed keeper. |

There are a lot of reasons for this loss, Sammy isn't in the top 10. |
