Let's be a little careful now. Chytil is not Mark Stone, Nikita Kucherov, or Gabriel Landeskog all of the sudden. Even if the excitement is high because he's back from the grave...
Even when he's fully healthy, he's not a gamebreaker/series changer like those guys. Would he be extremely helpful because every ounce of an edge matters? Of course. - t-dawg
there were times in the 2022 playoff run where Chytil was phenomenal though

No, sir. I was just stating that Jim might actually do some work someday, but not during the playoffs! |

I find it hard to believe if they had any concerns he’d be practicing full go. He must be fine. And yes it would be a huge boost to our chances
I think his first game would be game 1 next series. Unless this series goes to poop and they need him earlier. - Slimtj100
The only concern I would have is being in "game shape". You hear it all the time from players that have been out for awhile, takes a bunch of games, to really be back to normal. Its awesome he s coming back though |

Even though we didn’t win the series he was definitely a pretty big difference maker in the Tampa series. Chytil has the ability to bring an element this team desperately needs and he instantly brings a matchup nightmare for the opposing team.

He had 45 pts last year (22 goals) and looked very good his first 10 games this year. I think this year would’ve been a breakout year for him. |

Couldn’t agree me. Do you guys realize if Chytil is good to go how monumental this could be?!! Listen the Rangers aren’t going to put him out there if he isn’t ready but it’s trending in the direction he’s in the lineup on Sunday. We are adding an absolute stud to this lineup. I understand the notion that it might take him some time to get acclimated and comfortable coming back from a concussion but he’s gotta come back at some point. If he’s ready then why not now? Let’s Roll! - Awolff9
The question you need to ask yourself is... is he, and if he isnt, can he be the type of player necessary to make that line successful. Is he more of an offensive threat in general than Roslovic, absolutely. I think that alone should be a positive for that line.
Chytil plays a lot like Ziba offensively, only difference is he's a lefty. He started to become this shooting threat. However, whats the solution to make CK, Zib line function? Does it need another shooter like Mika? It doesnt hurt, but I feel what they need is a possession guy. Someone with vision, who can handle the puck. Make a pass, make a play. Thats not typically been his forte.
However, we dont have another Panarin, so we gotta make due with what we got. Unless... they want to move LAF to play with CK and Ziba, and put Chytil in between Panarin and Trocheck.

I don't think now is the time to start messing around and making big adjustments like that. I don't see any reason for them to split up Bread/Tro/Laf now. |

I disagree, I think that’s absolutely part of Chytils game. |

I’m going to convince myself this isn’t something you want or think is remotely possible and rather just a throwaway thought on where chytil could possibly fit in because wooooooof |

Its obviously a throwaway thought on options for bringing Chytil back into the fold. He did start the year centering Panarin, but at this point its a MASSIVE reach for something like that to happen. |

I dont know Ive always been very critical about how easy it has been to knock him off the puck and how he doesnt use his size at all. |

He does play much smaller than he is. He doesn't use his size to his advantage. But would still be a big upgrade to the lineup. |

In terms of Chytil vs Roslovic, its a significant upgrade to have Chytil in the lineup. Just for the simple fact that hes been playing with these guys for 5 years. And still, theres possibly some untapped potential there, who knows.
The one thing I wonder is, we have no idea what Chytil has been doing these last 3 months. The way Brooks described him as flying around the ice is interesting, in a good way. |

Once they shut him down for the year you know they were going to keep things under wraps. That may be why they had him go home. Less media coverage there so for all we know, he was fine a week later and has been working like a dog to be ready
