I will, but if it reassures you I live in St-Hyacinthe so it's gonna be le bloc québecois until the next ice age, my vote will never matter.

Might come quicker than we think if we continue to vote for pro-fossil fuel gouvernments all around the globe.

to me MSL is really excellent with players development and with the media.
but his inexperience as a coach shows in 2 ways. 1- defensive coverage in their zone, and 2- working his bench, reacting during the game.

perso I'd like Michel Therrien to help him out. he was excellent in these 2 aspects of the game. plus he has the experience of coaching in a market like Montreal. MSL could learn from him, and the team would benefit a lot.

well of course, you don't like the current coach and aren't confident he can learn and win.

I expect some changes but it wouldn't be the end of the world either if they didn't add to the coaching staff imho, as long as what happens on the ice makes sense.

I'd rather the status quo than another round of that meathead Michel Therrien involved with the team.

I think MSL has another year to prove he can grow as a coach, but after next year (25/26) I think there will be an expectation to win, and if there is not improvements on the coaching side, there will be changes to MSL's coaching staff.

His employment will be linked to expectations.

So far, the team has performed exactly as expected and we've seen individual growth from key players. All is good.

If in the next few years, the team doesn't perform up to expectations, THAT's when you can question the coaching and it's impact on the results.

Everyone agreed this team wasn't making the playoffs when the season began. They did exactly what was expected. Marty's fine so far in my book.

by reading between the lines.. ? why would it be "unacceptable" if there aren't any changes then? you keep criticizing his coaching, and that's fine.

I didn't say you liked Hitler or something, relax lolll

not having pink glasses doesn't mean I can't see his qualities. he has very nice qualities, I said so earlier. but he lacks in certain areas.
perso if I was the owner of a billion $ business, I would like the ship captain to have all the tools so he can become the best he can be. the better he becomes, the better my business is. leaving him alone to learn as they go is a really weird and dumb idea imho.

yeah, kinda tired of you and Garfield bringing that poop up, it has nothing to do with it.

I'm not saying MSL is perfect, but to believe he's got a smart hockey mind and will be able to adapt his coaching as they go along isn't winging it as you're sort of implying lol.

also I don't think giving him the chance to succeed before criticizing him is the equivalent of wearing pink glasses, there is a chance that he won't need someone to whisper in his ear what to do to make things work.
