Pete just ordered a Ford F550 with the fuel burner option to consume more gas to offset your carbon foot print, he's a real team player.

I prefer Barron and Struble over Kovacevic as a 7th D. I dont see where Kovacevic will fit anymore.

And you kinda forgot Dvo...

just saw an upside down car. so that was exciting. i don't think they're supposed to be that way.

what's going on up there?

Parallel parking can be hard.

Not much, just having some breakfast and deleting e-mails.

I did! damn we are stacked

I believe he fits in the whoever category! Would be a good 4th line with 2 guys that take faceoffs and he moves up when there's injuries

the road my temporary apartment is on is dangerous as hell. making a left onto it is usually a deathwish. and there are no shoulders to try to avoid an accident. these people seem to have found out the hard way. i honestly don't know why people don't just make the right and turn around somewhere. it's safer.

i'm also going through emails. boooring morning so far except for the whole car thing.

Unless they can get rid of Dvorak and/or Anderson (or both), they will both be in the lineup. Same with Harris / Baron (who I think is the real odd man out).

Beck likely starts the season in Laval. Same with Hutson.

I think Beck as a shot, he's the type of players coachs touch themselves at night thinking of.

I would rather see the young guys succed together instead of struggle trying to carry old finished players Anderson, Gallagher and Armia when he doesn't feel like playing that's why I'd stack that second line with our youngest, most talented players

I think Armia / Newhook / Gallagher have been a damn good line in the last few months of the season. I would also like to see Newhook to play more center and develop there, in case he is needed in that position down the line... he can always move to the wing at a later date.

The roadblock is contracts / bodies.

Until some of those are cleared, the lineup is not going to change much.

Again, will be interesting to see if HuGo can work some magic in the off-season and create space in the lineup for kids.

Also, gonna say this is the result of a drunken 3AM booty call that just had to happen, regardless of the consequences.

I think Newhook can maintain this pace.

Gallagher and Armia can also start the next season pointless.

But yeah, still alot of deadwood under contract

for the 3rd year in a row they finish dead last in the Atlantic division. don't tell me they improved collectively.
some kids did improve, a lot, which is good. the others won't be here when it matters.
another rough season ahead, after that it will be time to shift gears.
but hey! they enter the lottery with the #5 pick!

let's see what they will do this summer to improve up front but even though some young players are progressing and will continue to do so, the team must improve in their zone, at 5 on 5 and on special teams

no kidding lol

I hope Hughes will be able to strike another deal like he did for Dach and Newhook, but that is not a sure thing. he needs to find the right trade partner... it's not impossible he'll have to wait till summer 2025.

maybe PIT would be interested in a few young d prospects...
