Demidov could easily be there at #5.

They'll have the Michkov debate again, without the long KHL contract and the reports of bad attitude.

Biggest knock on him is, they don't have a scout IN Russia to watch him directly. They only have video/zoom calls.

- Scabeh

Seems like Bobrov still has MANY contacts in Russia, I am sure they can get info on the guy but it's not like Iggy that they already interviewed 4x (according to some news outlets) and they have been following very closely.

He has so much offensive talent. At some point, he'll be worth the risk.

Same with Trevor Connelly. The reports of racist comments and off-ice problems will scare teams away, but at some point someone will take the homerun swing on him.

He seems to like him way more than most but you can't deny it's an interesting talent. I'd stay the (frank) away from him, personally.

Does not seem like the "team" guy, agreed but he is also skinny as (frank)...once he gains a bit of muscle, he could be damn good (but still an bumhole)

Habs win the lottery and get the 2nd overall

They trade down to 5th with Anaheim, get the Oilers first in exchange. They package the Jets and the Oilers picks and move up in the top 15. They draft Lindstrom and Eiserman

I would never cheer for the Sens, I just cheer for the Habs to secure the 5th place in the draft (pre lottery)

You are not cheering for the Sens to win.

You are cheering for the Habs to lose.

Everything works out fine.

It was a surprise to not see him go to the final.

But hey, we get to see more NHL games out of him. That's fun!

If it gets us the 5th overall pick, or better, we'll all forget about this upcoming game next year when we draft a stud for our top 6.

Like i said, it pained me to type it out.

I guess he needs to officially sign with his "family advisor" to become his agent this morning and finalize the contract with MTL, busy morning for Lane

A win by the Sens would also see them jump ahead of Cgy...even better

Arizona has 3 games left, Oilers, Cgy and Oilers.

I can see them getting at least 2pts...maybe 3.
